Anthony Ramos Martinez(bornNovember 1,1991) is an American actor and singer. His first claim to fame was originating the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the Broadway musicalHamiltonby Lin-Manuel Miranda. His success on Broadway would later garner him acting roles in films from the likes ofGodzilla: King of the Monsters,A Star is Born,Trolls World Tour,The Bad Guys,Honest Thief,White Girland the theatrical adaptation ofIn the Heights.Other ventures of his career include acting roles on television inShe's Gotta Have ItonNetflix,Ironhearton Disney+, the revived seasons ofWill & Grace,and contributing the soundtrack forSpace Jam: A New Legacyperforming the song "The Best".
