Armored Corps was the warden atGarrus-7,whereDevil Gigatronwas held after his defeat by the Autobots. Dissatisfied with the bureaucracy of the prison and his dead-end job, Armored Corps fell for Gigatron's charisma, turning over to thePredacons,bringing along his second-in-command,Stealth Saber;Stealth Saber'sAmica Endura,Victory Bomber;and the four members of theScoutforce.When Devil Gigatron was upgraded byDevil Zto Gigatron Z, he broke free, and the eight Predacons went on a rampage, eventually facing againstFire Convoyand his troops. Whatever the conclusion of that conflict, Armored Corps ended up inAxiom Nexus,where he drunkenly babbled his backstory toSpacewarp.Spacewarp's Log (1), 2015/10/27

- Armored Corps is a Korean reissue ofBeast WarsMegastorm,redecoof the firstGeneration 2Megatrontoy (which had not been released in Japan previously) that transforms into a large combat tank. In both modes, his main cannon stocks up to six missiles, and gravity slides the next missile into place when one is fired. Megastorm lacks the electronics present in theGeneration 2toy, however. He has also been negligiblyretooledto accommodate a Predaconrubsignin his tummy.
- The most immediately-noticeable visual difference between Megatron and Armored Corps is that the purple camo pattern of the former has been rendered a more sensible olive on the latter. Black paint has been applied to the panels surrounding Megastorm's eyes, matching his cartoon appearance. The shoulderinsigniadecals have been updated to show thePredaconsymbol and the text "Destron", though still on thebright orangebackground of the originals. Like his predecessor, he includes a "Big Stick" decal that wraps around the fume extractor of his main cannon, though instead of "Eat this, Autobots!", the other side carries Megatron's originalmotto,"Peace through tyranny".
Notes
- While Armored Corps comes in an Autobot-labeled box, he still retains all of hisPredacon insignia.
- The Korean pronunciation given does not match the actual "core" pronunciation of "corps", but the Sonokong releases are fraught with such errors with misleadingly spelled words, such as "Match Kick"and"Autolanecher".
