Beast Wars: Uprising

When aCataclysmthreatened theirhome universe, most of theMonster GoBotsfled their native reality as part of the great GoBotDiaspora. They wound up on the dystopian Cybertron ofPrimax 215.19 Epsilon:a world where theGreat Warbetween theAutobotsandDecepticonshad evolved into a series of ritualizedGamesfought between their successors, theMaximalsandPredacons. The GoBots adopted new Predacon bodies, and gained infamy as a street gang known as the "Antares Eight".Ask Vector Prime, 2015/05/14

As they settled in, the Renegades built up a secret base called theErebosequipped with aModifierand databanks charting the activities of other GoBots in themultiverse. At some point, they welcomed in a second group of GoBotic refugees: theMonsterouscombiner team, and their handlerOdd Ball.Unhappy with the stagnant Cybertronian social order, the Renegades began their own plan to overthrow the dominant "Builders"and rule in their place.

Bugsie and the Eight gathered information about theHuman Confederacyand learned of an ancient Terran artifact theRosetta Stone(renamed "The Stone of Sky Warp" ) held in theMuseum of Decepticon Heritage. They arranged to appropriate the stone, and use it to lure the Terrans to Cybertron. Faking as if they were aResistanceteam, the Antares Eight seized control of a trans-hyperwave caster inProximax.Holding the Builder in charge hostage, they beamed demands for all Builders to leave Proximax in the name of the Resistance. In fact, the transmission was a trap to entice the humans, who monitored all Cybertronian transmissions, with a clear view of the Rosetta Stone in the background. The GoBots intended to usequantumite(a Gargent cluster substance unknown to the Transformers) to weaponize the caster, snare the unsuspecting humans when they arrived, and take their greater technology.

Bugsie and the Monster Gobots faced unexpected resistance, however, from a multi-factional group called the Ex-Bots. During the seizing of the tower, Bugsie was injured by the formerMCSFofficerStiletto. He returned to the Erebos withVampandScorpfor repairs in the Modifier, with Stiletto as a captive. Stiletto antagonized Bugsie into striking her during the interrogation, letting her feign unconsciousness. Bugsie caught her trying to get free, but was too slow to stop her. Once Stiletto got her expert knife-wielding hands on a stylus, she jammed it directly into Bugsie's optic, piercing his cyborg brain and killing him.Cultural Appropriation

Renegade Rhetoric

FromAxiom Nexus,Cy-Kill explained how the three Monster GoBots Bugsie, Klaws, and Hornet were Renegades early in the war. They chose to abandon the cause shortly after Cy-Kill became leader of the Renegades, leaving Gobotron to search for their creator theMaster Renegade. They resurfaced sometime after the Master Renegade was found onAntares III.Renegade Rhetoric 2015/10/15Bugsie was working for the Master Renegade when he tricked the Guardian and Renegade fleets into battling each other to the brink of destruction. Once they were weakened, the Master Renegade captured Leader-1 and Cy-Kill's forces and took over Gobotron with his Monster GoBots. The Guardian cadets called theRobo Rebelswere still free, however, and sneaked past Bugsie at theGuardian Science Academyto secure anAstrobeam.Countdown to Annihilation

After the Robo Rebels defeated the Master Renegade's plans, Bugsie and the other Monster GoBots returned to the Renegades, and Cy-Kill graciously accepted them.Renegade Rhetoric 2015/10/15When the Renegades found themselves forced by circumstances to put on a performance of "The Pirates of Penzance",Bugsie was Cy-Kill's second choice to play the Pirate King, for alas, Cy-Kill could not play both the King and the Modern Major General at once. Still, the Renegade leader thought Bugsie brought the appropriate panache to the role. The Show Must Go OnBugsie was one of the Renegades Cy-Kill brought to theCommunication Moonof Gobotron when a modified Astro-Beam enabled him to teleport the moon to a site of his convenience. Unfortunately for the Renegades, Leader-1 was also on the moon. The Guardian commander disabled Bugsie and used his communicator to track the other Renegades and slowly take them out one-by-one.The Stolen Moon
