The Transformers Generation One Chess Set was the first Kickstarter campaign byEaglemossand had many different tiers attached to it. The complete set would have come with 32 unique pieces based directly on theoriginal cartoonand itsmovie,plus three replacement pieces, a chess board, a pin badge and an exclusive 272-page Character Guide book. It is entirely possible that more tiers would have been added had the campaign been successful.

The campaign concluded unsuccesfully on September 24, 2021, having raised only $92,054 of its $300,000 goal in pledges.
