Dan DiDio(bornOctober 13,1959) was an executive atMainframe Entertainmentassigned to theTransformersfranchise during the third season ofBeast Wars.Dan is best known for being the producer who informedMarv WolfmanthatBeast Warshad no ties to the original series and to do as he pleased withGeneration 1continuitywhen outliningBeast Machines,and then instructedBob SkirandMarty Isenbergto disregard any previous incarnations of the series in writingBeast Machines,asBeast Warswas too "continuity-heavy".[1]
DiDio later served as both Co-Publisher (along withJim Lee) and Senior Vice President and Executive editor forDC Comics,where his tenure for the company ended in February 2020.
