Decepticon Base(デストロン cơ địaDestron Kichi) is a hidden island fortress located in thePacific Ocean,23 kilometers east ofHawaii,and used by theDecepticonsunderDevil Zduring theMasterforce War.It has multiple buildings, which can be extended to raise above water or lower underwater. Within those buildings are numerous rooms, including personal bedrooms for thehumanDecepticons, a hangar, a dining room, and Devil Z's cave-like chamber where he rests on a central dais.
Devil Z's chamber includes a viewscreen that Decepticons can monitor situations and battles outside the base.

Decepticon Base was built sometime before the DecepticonPretendersproceeded in their plan to createDestroidsfrom corpses stolen from a medical university. The Destroids were created at Decepticon Base, withBlooddrawing thepowerof Devil Z through him. The Pretenders would then observe the Destroids rampage and their failure to keep structural integrity on the viewscreen. After mediating in front of Devil Z, the Pretenders concluded that they should convert live humans into Destroids and picked theKarin Islandsfrom the viewscreen as a collection site.Terror! After the DecepticonHeadmaster Juniorswere selected, they were brought to Decepticon Base, whereWilderfound himself bored with cleaning out histranstectorand pined to cause trouble on the surface. He would soon be satisfied as Blood officiated them as Decepticon warriors and they were given permission to bring about devastation on land. The three took to their task with full vigor.Birth! Headmaster JrsOn another day, Wilder contacted the Pretenders staying at the underwater component of the Decepticon Base about causing chaos in his hometown. Blood implored Wilder to increase Decepticon recruitment and to give the Autobot Headmasters their damnedest if they showed up.Rage!! Little Devils with No Need for Rules
Decepticon Base acted as a school once, when Blood taught the Headmaster Juniors aboutChōkon Powerand its three flavors. When Wilder failed at his scheme to gain Decepticon supporters,Gilmermoped around the base and called Wilder a weakling, incurring a punishing bolt from Devil Z.Go, Goshooter - Showdown in the WastelandFor their next scheme, Blood at Decepticon Base contacted Gilmer andDaurosabout causing animal stampedes inKenya.Cancermocked the banality of the plan, incurring Blood's wrath—consisting of him ripping out chunks of the base's stalactites and throwing them at the Headmasters.Panic! Protect the Wild Animals!!The Pretenders and Headmaster Juniors were soon summoned to theDecepticons' other installation,Super Warriors - The Godmaster Brothersand quickly returned withGiga,Mega,Hydra,andBuster,who all made Decepticon Base their permanent residence. The Decepticons reviewed their plan to destroy the tidal power plant onViscas Islandwith the viewscreen. TheGodmasterbrothers were sent out and Giga waxed poetic on the superiority of the Godmasters, sending the Pretenders fuming into a hallway. The attack on Viscas Island was observed on the viewscreen by Giga and Mega. However, the plot ended in failure and Buster took the loss hard at Decepticon Base.A Fierce Battle!! The Autobots Are in TroubleNevertheless, Giga and Mega ordered the Godmasters to seek out wayward and unknowing Godmasters on the surface.A Hero Is Chosen - His Name Is Ginrai
Eventually, the island attracted the attention of a military aircraft, which was quickly destroyed by Giga swinging adeathballat it from the roof of the base. Giga ordered the brothers to use the deathballs to destroy the Autobot GodmasterGinraithrough whatever means. Again, they failed.Ginrai: God On of Rage!!Giga, again, decided to do a lecture and revealed the origins of the Godmasters as offshoots of a "main Godmaster"to the Headmaster Juniors. Later, Hydra and Buster were sent to find the remaining four Godmasters. Blood arrived at the base with intelligence that somebody who looked like Ginrai boarded a ship heading toJapan;the Headmaster Juniors were sent to investigate and Cancer was captured. Eventually, Cancer was recovered and brought back to Decepticon Base, where Mega berated Wilder andBullhornfor letting Cancer be put through such trauma.A Strange Friendship: Cancer and MinervaHydra and Buster were called upon again, this time by Devil Z himself, to destroy Ginrai, but, as was becoming typical, they failed. Giga and Mega decided to pull out the big guns and summonedTurtlerto the base, where he fused with theSeaconsto formKing Poseidon.Eliminate the Godmaster GinraiAs part of another plot to destroy Ginrai, Buster and Hydra left the through the underwater base of the main building.Lightfoot: A Dramatic Encounter
Devil Z was furious at the Autobots acquiringyet another Godmasterand emphasized to the fearful Decepticons that the remaining three Godmasters were not to fall to Autobot hands. When the Godmaster brothers returned after their failure to getRanger,another Godmaster, Devil Z took his rage out on Buster and Hydra while Mega and Giga could do nothing but prostrate themselves and beg forgiveness.An Enemy? The Third Godmaster, RangerDecepticon Base would later receive a visitor whenSixknightsneaked in without alerting the sensors. The six-changer revealed himself when the Pretenders were teaching the Headmaster Juniors hand-to-hand combat. Angered by Sixknight's arrogance, the Pretenders attacked him, only to be sent into the cave floor. Sixknight was brought before Giga and Mega, only for Mega to laugh in his face when he professed to be the most powerful. In the base's spire, Blood easily cajoled an angrily eager Sixknight into attacking Super Ginrai to prove himself the most powerful onEarth.A Powerful Foe!! Sixknight the Wanderer
Giga and Mega gathered all of the Decepticons for a lavish dinner, served by a robotic chef. There, Giga pontificated on the Autobots gathering four Godmasters, assuring the others that it did not mean that the Autobots had defeated the Decepticons. The motherly Mega, noticing Cancer's somber mood, took the boy to her room and presented him with his own "pet", the tiny pistol TransformerBrowning.The gift lifted Cancer's spirits as he played with Browning around the room.The Autobot Warrior, Sixknight?!During a plot concocted by Hydra and Buster that involved kidnapping doctors and stranding them onAtlan Island,the human Decepticons observed the situation on the viewscreen. Mega proceeded to rant on about how humans would lose their will to live. When the Pretenders failed to prevent the Autobots from rescuing the doctors, the Godmaster brothers mocked the Pretenders, only for Mega to become irritated at the infighting.Save the Little Girl! The Chōjin Warriors, the GodmastersIn face of the constant defeats, Devil Z contacted theDecepticons off-world,asking them to send assistance. During this, Giga and Mega were kneeling in front of the god. Afterward, they interrupted a game of billiards between the Godmaster brothers and ordered them to utilize a "divide and conquer" strategy to eliminate the Autobot Godmasters.Life? Death? Devil Z soon revealed to Giga and Mega that the Autobots had intercepted his communications with their "ally" off-Earth and had started theBomber Projectto counteract the Decepticons. The brothers were ordered to stop the project, through destroying Ginrai to render the project useless. Giga and Mega watched their plot unfold on the viewscreen and, when Hydra and Buster could not accomplish their mission, took matters into their own hands by boarding the Megajet and Gigatank components ofOverlordstored in the Base's hangar and departed through an underwater opening.Super Ginrai Gets Blown Away in the Desert!?After Ginrai's assumed death, Devil Z contactedBlackZarakand ordered Giga and Mega to rendezvous with him on theMoon.Before they left, Hydra and Buster informed their leaders that the Bomber Project was being constructed atBritish Motors(information which they stole credit for from the Decepticon Pretenders). The Godmaster brothers and the Pretenders departed the underwater hangar to destroy the Bomber Project. Giga and Mega combined into Overlord and left for the Moon.Will the Bomber Project Be Destroyed!?Ginrai, now combined with Godbomber into God Ginrai, followed Overlord to the Moon. Devil Z observed their combination and alerted Mega and Giga of his impeding arrival.God Ginrai - Into the Sky!!
The alliance with BlackZarak fell apart after a losing battle with God Ginrai, a fact that Giga and Mega grumbled over after watching a video of their battle at Decepticon Base. After choosing a Middle-Eastern desert to destroy Ginrai in, Giga ordered Hydra and Buster to attack theoilrefinery there, asking them to sacrifice themselves if needed be to destroy Ginrai.Overlord - Terror of the Chōkon TornadoAfter the construction of an underwateradvance basecaused an volcano to become active and create an earthquake, Turtler reported in person to Giga and Mega at Decepticon Base. Giga worried about the Autobots discovering the base, but Mega reassured him by noting that the base was guarded by Seacons. Later, whenLightfootdiscovered the advance base and was incapacitated, Turtler communicated to Giga and Mega through the viewscreen. Mega ordered Turtler to destroy the Godmaster and his soon-to-be rescuer, Ginrai. When Ginrai became trapped with Lightfoot, Giga, Mega, and Gilmer could only laugh at his inevitable destruction when the volcano erupted. After the Autobots escaped the danger and the advance base was destroyed, Giga chewed out Turtler for his failure and the two leaders concluded that Godbomber must be destroyed.Escape!! In a bid to discover the final Godmaster in North America, Giga and Mega had the Decepticons temporarily operate off of a Pacific island where Overlord in base mode rested.Appearance!! The Final GodmasterAfterAutobot Basewas destroyed, Devil Z initiatedOperation M1,bringing in BlackZarak and having him and Overlord rampage across Earth. When Ginrai and Grand Maximus fought the two powerful Decepticons, Devil Z immediately ordered the cessation of Operation M1 and the beginning ofOperation M2.BlackZarak - Destroyer from SpaceWhen Mega and Giga arrived back at the base, Devil Z elaborated on the details of Operation M2—the destruction of humanity—and ordered the human Deceptcions to meet BlackZarak at theDeath Para-Machineby the Moon. Devil Z remained at Decepticon Base and observed the events by the Death Para-Machine, ordering BlackZarak when to fire the weapon.Crisis! The Day of Human ExtinctionOperation M2 proved to be another failure and so Devil Z had the Decepticons attack various locations around the world, ranting in his chamber of how the Decepticon kingdom would rise from the ashes of humanity. The Headmaster Juniors were left at the base, where Bullhorn expressed hesitant feelings about Devil Z's plan for humanity. When his conversation with Wilder revealed that BlackZarak was to attack Cancer's hometown inChina,Cancer rushed out to warn the people of his hometown.God Ginrai - Save Cancer!?
Realizing that striking at their base would destroy the Decepticons' capabilities and ultimately reduce further casualties, the Autobots began to search for Decepticon Base, setting their temporary base atMatar Island.Shūta, while retrieving a sonar probe, was met by Clouder, who offered to bring the Autobots to the base. Not trusting the Godmaster, Shūta had Clouder take only him to the base. Unknown to both, Hydra was listening into their conversation and warned the Decepticons in advance. Underwater, Clouder and Shūta entered a secret tunnel into the base, only to be stopped in a hall and shocked by the base's defensive systems. Thrown into the dungeon, Shūta was used by the Decepticons as bait to lure Ginrai into the base for a final confrontation with Overlord. After receiving permission from Devil Z, Overlord sent a message to the Autobots regarding Shūta, allowing Ginrai to trace the origin of the transmission and journey to the base. There, he was forced to allow Overlord to beat him up, lest King Poseidon kill Shūta. However, the efforts of Godbomber and a changed Cancer saved Shūta from King Poseidon's clutches. After rescuing Clouder, Shūta, Cancer, and God Ginrai escaped the base, now with full knowledge of where it was located.God Ginrai: Showdown at the Decepticon BaseIn the hours before the Autobot attack on Decepticon Base, the Autobots reconvened atAngkor Wat,boarding Grand Maximus and setting off for the base. Not to be outdone, Devil Z did some preparations for himself, summoning BlackZarak to the base as part of his final plan. In the meantime, the emperor ordered his troops to take battle stations in preparation for the upcoming attack.
The Autobots soon arrived, finding the base's first line of defense—the Seacons. Ginrai went ahead, letting Maximus, the Headmaster Juniors, and the other Godmasters take care of the Seacons and King Poseidon. Ginrai landed on top of the base's main tower, where he battled Overlord, Hydra, Buster, Wilder, Bullhorn, Dauros, Blood, and Gilmer. He was soon joined by Cab, Shuta, Lightfoot, Ranger, and Road King. Devil Z, exasperated with the incompetence of his minions, ordered a retreat and had the tower sink into the ocean. Ginrai and the others blew their way into the main tower's retractable tube, finding themselves in the hangar, where they met face-to-face with BlackZarak. Devil Z, in his chamber, finally took a proactive role, temporarily revealing his “true form” and becoming one with BlackZarak. The combined being then warped the base's structure, destroying the floor and sending the Autobots, Wilder, and Bullhorn into a cavern below.
To end the Autobots once and for all, BlackZarak planted timed bombs in the armory that would destroy the base, not particularly caring for the lives of Wilder and Bullhorn. With the Pretenders and the Godmasters, BlackZarak evacuated the base. Clouder would soon come to the rescue, bringing the Godmasters booster packs that allowed them to escape, while God Ginrai saved the lives of the stubborn Wilder and Bullhorn by escaping the collapsing base with them in his arms at the last second.
