Flip Racers

Flip Racersis asublineof toys under theRescue Botsfranchise. Introduced in2017,the small figures recall theBot Shotsline ofauto-transformingfigures with the main difference beingFlip Racersare exclusive to theRescue BotsandRescue Bots Academycasts.

Overview

Aside from the previously mentionedBot Shotsas inspiration,Rescue Botsfeatured a very brief subline called Flip Changers that were larger figures motorized to roll after pulling a handle and then auto-transform into robot mode. Only two figures were made (ChaseandHeatwave) and they were around $20 a pop retail. Wisely, Hasbro kept the design, ditched the motor and scaled the figures down to allow a better price point and selection as Flip Racers.

Selections started in packs of three before later releasing the Racers as individuals. Launchers and larger playsets were also available, often featuring unique redecos of earlier figures.
