The Pyramid was one of the victims of the increasingly powerful quakes that plagued Cybertron, one of them rupturing the plasma drawtubes with only a magnetic field preserving the structure. FollowingMegatron's takeover of Iacon, the newly minted Optimus Prime visited the Pyramid where he learnt of the Titansparks. Concurrently, Megatron, having been informed of the sparks byStarscream,sent a force to claim them. The firepower unleashed damaged the machines producing the magnetic field, causing the Pyramid to be flooded with molten plasma.Titans

The Decepticons managed to recover a single Titanspark from the wreckage of the Pyramid. Megatron entrusted the prize toMindwipewhile also tasking him with rebuilding the Pyramid.Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Two
