Glaciusis slightly more reasonable and upbeat than his buddySwelter,although that's not saying all that much. This Mini-Con uses his icy blasts to freeze his enemies solid; when combined with Swelter's (literal) firepower the duo can melt and re-freeze metal to trap their enemies. Although both Mini-Cons hired themselves out to various Decepticons back onCybertron,they've fallen in withRazorpawsince arriving onEarth,a less-than-ideal partnership. This newfound fear of their master is pretty much the only thing keeping both Mini-Cons from going their own way.

Swelter and Glacius regularly teamed up with Decepticons. They were imprisoned on theAlchemoronly to be freed when the ship crashed onEarth.There they teamed up withRazorpaw,despite the fact he treated them poorly. WhenOptimus Prime's team appeared on the hunt for Razorpaw, they attacked the former Autobot leader and even defeatedDrift's Mini-ConsJetstormandSlipstream,but retreated when faced by the other Autobots. They brought the team of trackers to Razorpaw's attention, and accompanied him as he followed them to a military base where the pair succeeded in trapping Drift andSideswipein a metal cocoon. They followed that up by taking out Optimus himself, but it turned out Optimus had been feigning, and while the pair argued with Razorpaw, Optimus demolished the trio.Cover Me

Glacius's stasis pod was later taken back toCybertronbyOptimus Prime,WindbladeandRatchet.Decepticon Island (Part 2)

Available as part of the fourth wave ofRobots in Disguisesingle-packed Mini-Cons, Glacius is aredecoofSwelter;as such, he shares engineering withDivebombbut is a new mold altogether. He transforms from a small humanoid robot into a Cybertronian torpedo in a single step. As aTorpedo-style Mini-Con, he can attach to and launch from DeployerFracture's sidecar. He comes with a number of clear plastic accessories attached to a Decepticon-insignia-shaped sprue, which can be attached using tabs and slots.

Hisstock photo(on the right) has a few mistakes. The flame parts on his legs are facing down, and the blue flamethrower parts on his arms are swapped, so the hoses meant to go on the back of his arms are facing forward. His nozzles that plug into his hands are missing entirely.

This wave was largely skipped by larger brick-and-mortar stores in the US, but began to filter out through discount chains like Marshalls and Five Below by the 2016 holiday season.
