After a smug string of handing out sage advice to his fellow Bots, Medix is now faced with the dilemma of having to listen to his own "simple" words of wisdom. Wrestling over his own words, he finds out that doing the right thing isn't always easy.

Synopsis
WhirlandHot Shotare excited to seeHoist's new exhibit in his museum of Earth ephemera.Medixdoesn't see a need for haste, and when the pair disregard his advice to be cautious about the exhibits, Hot Shot ends up causing chaos. Hot Shot's immediate urge is to think of a way to cover this up, but Medix points out he's learned this lesson before and it's better to come clean. Medix also stops Whirl from sneaking out and persuades her to help with the cleanup.
MeanwhileWedgecomplains to himself that cleaning up the living quarters is taking too long. He attempts to cheat by throwing everything into boxes, but Medix arrives and opens one of the boxes in an attempt to find a safety handbook. Junk flies everywhere, and Medix points out that if he'd done it right in the first place, he'd be done already. Medix reflects that he's pretty good at giving advice which encourages him to start giving advice to anyone and everyone.
Eventually Medix arrives inRatchet's lab where he's due to help Ratchet's restoration of the old Cybertronian ship. He activates Ratchet's fourdiagnostic tools,tiny spiderlike devices which immediately flee the lab and disappear into the Academy's walls. Medix ponders whether to tell Ratchet but opts not to follow his own advice and instead try to find the tools himself. He quickly locates one, then a second as it interferes with Whirl's wind tunnel. A third makes the launch tubes malfunction, sucking Wedge into them, before Medix recovers it. The last attacks Hot Shot, causing the Bot to knock over one of Hoist's exhibits that he and Hoist have just been restoring, before Medix whisks the tool away unseen.
Medix replaces the tools in the lab believing he's successfully covered it up, just before Ratchet himself arrives. Medix is startled and the tools again activate and run out of the lab, but this time Ratchet just presses the recall button and they scurry back. The rest of the recruits arrive, complaining about the technical issues they've been having, andHeatwavecontacts Ratchet to get him to check out the problem. Medix confesses to unleashing the diagnostic tools and says he didn't want to disappoint Ratchet, but Ratchet says he's proud of his nephew. The recruits head off to reassemble Hoist's museum.
