"Wouldn't it make more sense if Fizzle had my name? You know, 'cause he... *glug glug glug*...?"

A battle-hardened survivor of theSoftware WarsofPolyhex,Guzzle(akaFuel LineorPneumatix) is a warrior through and through. A tough, no-nonsense soldier, he has little time or tolerance for those who can't or won't fight.

The only thing that equals his hunger for combat is his hunger for fuel, as Guzzle unfortunately lives up to his name. He has considerable fuel consumption due to both the way he throws himself into battle and his incredibly fuel inefficient systems.

No, that's motion lines, not Parkinson's, wiseass.

Guzzle journeyed toEarthwith his fellow Sparkler Mini-Bots to observe and record the actions and whereabouts ofGalvatron. They quickly discovered that the nutjob had escaped, and the Sparklers attempted to call Springer and his Wreckers for backup. Unfortunately, their plans were interrupted in Florida by theFirecons, who had an offer to make the futureDecepticonand didn't want any interference. Guzzle spent a few minutes running around like a robo-chicken with his head cut off before remembering, oh yeah, he could turn into a tank! The tide of battle quickly turned, with Guzzle taking on and defeatingCindersaur, but ultimately ended when Galvatron dismissed both groups with little more than a wave of his hand.Enemy Action!

After quickly checking tactics with the other Sparklers (Hey! Can YOU guys change into tanks too?! No?), Guzzle and company decided to seek out more firepower and freedUltra Magnusfrom his volcanic cocoon. Unfortunately, they also bumped into Galvatron, and while Magnus moped around demoralised, the Sparkabots promptly got theirdiodeskicked. Fortunately, before Galvatron could tear the helpless little 'bots apart, Magnus broke out of his psychological trauma and with a few brutal blows, sent the madDecepticoninto retreat.Salvage!

They returned toCybertronto gather theWreckersas reinforcements, only to find the city of Kalis absolutely deserted along with the Autobot base there... deserted because ofthe living dead!Along the way, they ended up in combat with Decepticons outside Kalis's borders, where Guzzle and hisSparkabotbuddies were quickly incapacitated byBattletrapandFlywheels.Ultra Magnus had to once again save their rear thrusters, sending the Decepticons into retreat and even capturing the latterDuocon. While questioning their Decepticon prisoner, the Autobots became surrounded by the reanimated beings, and had to form an alliance with their natural enemy. Though the Sparkabots made good use of their high-temperature spark-jets to set the encroaching hordes ablaze, Magnus eventually called off all offensive maneuvers; he still held onto the hope that they could revert their former comrades to a fully-living state. However, Flywheels had no such delusions, and his ideals and loyalties, conflicting with the Autobots', nearly made the fragile alliance come to blows. The Autobots eventually deduced that what they were fighting were indeed the dead, but they hadn't been risen through supernatural means; rather, the corpses' motor-functions were being controlled by a powerful radio-signal. While Ultra Magnus and Flywheels jammed the signal reactivating the zombies, Guzzle and his fellow Sparkabots lured a mass of zombies away from the pair.City of Fear!

With a momentary lull in the fighting, Ultra Magnus reluctantly trusted Flywheels to fly off to nearly Decepticon territory and return with reinforcements. The Sparklers were not happy with this decision.Legion of the Lost!

Springer sparkabots magnus meltdown.jpg

Guzzle's group then bumped into Springer, recently escaped from the crazed AutobotFlame.Through him, Guzzle learned that Flame was responsible for the incident in Kalis, the whole thing being an elaborate distraction from his attempts to re-engineer the entire planet as a giant spacecraft. But the antiquated engines Flame had fired up risked setting off a chain reaction beneath the surface, which would literally tear Cybertron apart. Springer led Guzzle and his friends to Flame's underground lair to defeat the mad scientist and save Cybertron, where they bumped into the rest of the Wreckers and joined forces with them. But despite the great number of warriors present, the Autobots were unable to enter Flame's inner sanctum. That is, until abig honking dinosaur robotturned up, brought along by a returning Flywheels. Once through the gates, Guzzle and his pals once again fought through hordes of zombies before a zombifiedImpactorput an end to Flame's insane plans forever. Guzzle was present to mourn the great Autobot's seconddeath.Meltdown!

The Sparklers and Magnus intended to join the Wreckers in going to Earth to stop Galvatron once and for all, but when an Autobot patrol discovered the corpse of their scoutChameleon, they traveled toTyrestto investigate. There they stumbled upon an illegal gladiatorial combat racket being run in Cybertron's oldJekka Amphitheatre.Guzzle discovered a trove of dead gladiators, remarking wryly how it "put a new light on this old place." Upon this horrific discovery, Guzzle and his buds quickly found themselves under attack! Captured by the alienZabraand his Firecon allies, the three Sparklers were forced to wait in prison while Ultra Magnus fought amassive, multi-armed alien.Guzzle and Sizzle faked a violent argument, drawing the guard near and giving Fizzle the chance to knock him cold. One quick escape later, the Sparklers decided to stick around and help Magnus stop the death-games rather than catch the dimensional alignment that the Wreckers used to jump to Earth. This turned out to be the right course of action, as they were just in time to blast several Decepticons who were about to shoot Magnus in the back.Deadly Games!

Left behind on Cybertron,Guzzle was last seen rusting away in a Decepticon detention facility with his fellow Sparkabots and theTriggerbots.Ca$h and Car-nage!

"Nice knowing you too... uh... what were their names again?"

In an alternate year2009,Guzzle was one of only seven Autobots left alive on Earth. Together withSpikeandLisa, his group took on a mission to show the rest of the world that America was still resisting Decepticon tyranny, despite the entire continent having become a wasteland after a long-fought battle. A deadline loomed on their mission, as the governments of the remaining free nations planned to launchnuclear weaponsand scorch America off the map in a desperate bid to eliminate the Decepticons themselves. Acting as a distraction while the rest of their team made their way to Galvatron's fortress, Guzzle, Chainclaw, and Getaway attackedCyclonusandScourge, standing guard over the installation. Guzzle was killed by Cyclonus, but it looks like he actually might've been the one to kill first, an impressive feat on its own. At the very least, he held his own longer thanGetaway.Rhythms of Darkness!

Tank Him.

Originally namedPneumatix,Guzzle was a warehouse attendant working inYuss. His diminutive physical build kept him from the front lines of the war until he underwent theBody Augmentation Program. The process bulked him up and swapped his initial forkliftalternate modefor a battle tank of "Class-3 Ruination"make. It also increased his fuel consumption by nearly a hundredfold, eventually earning him the nickname" Guzzle "from his peers.

As a cadet, Guzzle sustained near-fatal damage fighting theCult of the Black Epoch.Once recovered, he fought in a number of off-world campaigns which established his rep as a single-minded, no-nonsense soldier. He served in a platoon withSizzle,Pincher, andSirenbefore they were reassigned toArk-17.Guzzle subsequently requested membership in theWreckersand was granted reserve status.Guzzle's psych-screening

Due to his heroic actions, Guzzle was shortlisted to be recruited from reserve status into the Wreckers proper. He turned the offer down, but changed his mind when he found out Kup was on the team.Dead Men's BootsAlong with his fellow new recruits, he decided to pass the time before they were picked up by getting in some target practice... wrecking theIgue-Moor Fuel Depotin the process. Guzzle blew this off by telling local Autobot foremanDipstickthat they were Wreckers, and this was what theydid.Later, after fellow recruitIronfistfainted upon meeting the older Wreckers, Guzzle appeared concerned and asked if they should call someone. When Ironfist claimed he was fine, Guzzle then teased him by suggesting he fainted at the sight of his heroes, name-dropping that the guy was the famous Wreckers fanboy "Fisitron".Last Stand of the Wreckers #1

On their way toGarrus-9,the Wreckers encounteredImpactor, who had escaped from the prison. Guzzle and the other rookies waited around together while Impactor was questioned. Guzzle in particular was quite restless, disassembling and reassembling hisfavorite handgunto pass the time. The four recruits began speculating on why Impactor had been kicked out of the Wreckers and locked up in Garrus-9.

Shortly, Springer held a briefing for the entire group, conveying what Impactor had reported about Garrus-9's current state of affairs.Overlordwas responsible for taking it over and their primary objective was to rescue the Autobots now imprisoned within. Springer began to bring up a secondary objective, which Guzzle excitedly assumed was "Kill Overlord!". While amused with Guzzle's enthusiasm, Springer corrected him and identified it as securing something called "Aequitas",which was locked away in Garrus-9's depths.

While preparing to drop into Garrus-9 via two entry pods, Guzzle received a new gun from Ironfist that firedcerebro-sensitive bullets,a gift he was most grateful for. Shortly thereafter, Guzzle was placed in an entry pod with Springer, Impactor, Kup, andTwin Twist. The entry pods successfully breached Garrus-9's defenses and the Wreckers infiltrated the prison.Last Stand of the Wreckers #2

Heads targeted by a master.

Upon landing, Guzzle's group was almost immediately attacked by a mob of Decepticons and they were forced to quickly retreat. However, Guzzle got sick of running and turned to fire into the advancing mob. The cerebro-sensitive bullets came in handy as Guzzle scored headshot after headshot and Kup and Impactor also joined in on the firefight as Springer tended to a wound Twin Twist had suffered.

Guzzle had to stop gleefully blowing up his opponents' heads though, when Springer ordered him to collapse the passageway they were stuck in. Guzzle converted to tank mode and complied, temporarily stalling the attacking Decepticons. Springer then ordered Guzzle to accompany Kup in taking a trip down into Garrus-9's maximum security wing to acquire some possible "help" they had discussed earlier.

Dun dun DUHN!

Soon, Kup and Guzzle were descending down a ladder into the basement of Garrus-9. Kup told the younger Autobot to watch his step, as dying in a rescue attempt would help no one. Guzzle noted that he had some friends that died trying to save another Autobot. Kup responded "Hope the guy was worth it". With a wary, downward glance, Guzzle replied "Depends on who you ask".Last Stand of the Wreckers #3

Once they reached the bottom, the two made their way to a high-security cell, where Guzzle watched as Kup took care of some Decepticon goons with his bare hands. After opening the cell and finding it empty, they were approached bySnare,a Decepticon traitor responsible for releasing Impactor. Snare explained at gunpoint that the cell's occupant—Grimlock—had been driven mad and was now "long gone". While Guzzle didn't believe him at first, the Decepticon further revealed that Springer's team had been captured, and led him and Kup to the "Spark Extinction Chamber" whereStalkerwas torturing them. They saved Springer and Impactor from the torturer, but minutes later, Overlord himself blasted his way into the room.Last Stand of the Wreckers #4

Guzzle>this guy.

As the fight began, Guzzle was snatched up by Overlord and torn in two pieces at the waist. The Decepticon cruelly referred to him as a "stunted little wretch", and asked the others if they really had thought Guzzle would survive this fight. Overlord then used the two halves of Guzzle's body to batter Kup unconscious.

But when all was said and done and Overlord was defeated, Guzzle had managed to survive. Once he had been repaired and Overlord remanded to Ultra Magnus' custody, Guzzle left with the now-pardoned Impactor to parts unknown.Last Stand of the Wreckers #5

Guzzle's appetite for conflict and violence increased in Impactor's company. Accordingly, he bit off more than he could chew and was captured by a group of Decepticons. Guzzle was imprisoned alongside somesmaller organic aliensthat the Decepticons wereharvesting for their blood.Impactor broke them out, and the two Autobots attempted to escort the organics to safety, killing all Decepticons in their way. But when the organics were gunned down during the escape attempt, both Impactor and Guzzle lost themselves to blood-lust and continued to mercilessly slaughter the Decepticon troops that were thrown at them.EscapeThe bloodlust rages would become a defining feature of Guzzle.Sins of the Wreckers #2

Speaking of fuel consumption...

Years into this, Guzzle continued to upgrade himself, eventually adopting a gigantic new frame. His violent urges grew worse and worse, and eventually he crossed a line and started to murder his defeated foes. Impactor dragged him toDebrisand locked him up in a windowless cell in the hope he could get through to him, but a raging Guzzle merely accused him of being a hypocrite, Impactor havingmurdered prisoners before.Luckily for the headcase,Prowlhad been abducted and a healed Springer needed a new Wreckers team to get him back, so out came Guzzle!Sins of the Wreckers #1He saw action fast, whenan agentofMayhem,an anarchist faction of experimentalChimeracons, nicked the very Aequitas data he'd gone to Garrus-9 to retrieve. In pursuit with Impactor, Guzzle could only say that y'know, maybe Prowl deserved what was happening to him. He then casually blasted a polar bear... which turned out to bea Mayhem agent!Guzzle merrily tore into him, killed him in battle, ripped him in two and...

...well, check that pic out. Yeah.

"Look across the river at the flowers, Guzzy..."

With theObtenteumfrom Polar Claw's system amplifying his already considerable bloodlust, he had to be restrained by Impactor and Springer. Being Wreckers, they decided to use his horrific self anyway and took him along to the main battle where Guzzle's rage allowed a small team to sneak inside the Mayhem base.Sins of the Wreckers #2However, once Impactor learned the Mayhems and their paymasterTarantulaswere tied to "Noisemaze",he ordered Guzzle and the others back to Debris.Sins of the Wreckers #3There Impactor used a hidden gate to warp Debris right into the Noisemaze, prompting the furiousTidal Wave—the Chimeracon carrying the main portal to the Noisemaze—to turn himself inside out and enter the fray, threatening to collapse the pocket dimension entirely. Guzzle was all too happy to be back in the midst of battle.Sins of the Wreckers #4

With Prowl in tow, the Wreckers began working on an escape plan. Guzzle used his cannon to blast himself up into the air, and jam some of the maddening Obtenteum crystals into Tidal Wave, driving him berserk and forcing Carnivac to turn him back into hisbeast mode, accompanied by a gravitational shift that triggered the final collapse of the Noisemaze. As the surviving Autobots clambered back into Debris, Guzzle aimed two guns at Kup and Prowl—blaming both of them for theTsiehshiincident and the loss of many of his friends. Verity tried to reason with the wrathful Wrecker, but Guzzle refused to listen. Impactor took matters into his own hands and fired hisharpoonthrough Guzzle's head, putting him down for good.Sins of the Wreckers #5
