Synopsis
- Page 1
Youare vacationing in theYorkshire Dalesfor the summer. Today, you grabbed your drawing-pad and headed towards theDruid Stone,an ancient granite block and local landmark. Once at the site, however, you found yourself feeling too lazy for the task, and you are now instead sitting back and enjoying the sunshine. Off in the distance, you observe a huge lorry being slowly escorted down the road by a police car and several motorcycles. You are about to return to your daydreams when you notice something shiny in the nearby grass.
Investigate?page 2
Ignore the shiny object and continue lazing in the sun?page 19

- (Frompage 1)
- You take a closer look at the shiny object.
- To your surprise, you discover that the shiny object is in fact a large metal doorway set in the ground. It appears someone attempted to hide the door underneath a pile of branches and heather. Next to the door is a red button, which you assume will open the passage.
- Press the button?page 3
- Go back to the Druid Stone?page 19
- Page 3
- (Frompage 2)
- You press the red button.
- After a few moments, the door does indeed slide back, unveiling a metal ramp that leads down under the earth. You precociously enter the passage. The underground base you find yourself in reminds you of something out ofStar Wars, being a futuristic-looking maze of metallic corridors. You then hear voices that sound strangely mechanical.
- Go to the left, towards the voices?page 4
- Go to the right, away from the voices?page 6
- Page 4
- (Frompage 3)
- You walk towards the voices.
- Entering a control room, you see two robotic figures, agigantic silver and blue one, anda smaller black and red one.
- Make a run for it?page 7
- Try talking to these strange beings?page 8
- Page 7
- (Frompage 4)
- You run away from the robots.
- But they have spotted you and are now giving you chase! You exit the underground base, pressing the red button next to the metal door as you dash past it. But this does not close the door. You hear the larger robot’s voice giving out orders, followed by the high-pitched whine of something that sounds like a dentist’s drill.
- Hide behind the druid stone?page 10
- Keep running?page 12
- Page 10
- (Frompage 7)
- You hide behind the druid stone.
- Just as you take cover, the red and black robot emerges from the doorway. The whine you heard earlier is emanating from hissonic rifle. The robot takes a quick look around but does not see you. The robot then addresses it’s leader, who he calls "Megatron." He tells him that you’ve escaped him, and Megatron orders the smaller robot to forget about you and return underground, before the "Autobots" notice him. You are confused by Megatron’s remark, as you notice no one nearby, save for the lorry-driver and his escort more than a mile away.page 13
- With a thunderous roar, a huge flying cannon heads for the road, and unleashes a barrage of anti-matter blasts towards it. The police car escorting the lorry begins to change shape, as does the cab, prompting their drivers to leap out of their vehicles. Both vehicles are now robots. The robots announce themselves asOptimus PrimeandProwl, and advise the humans to clear the area. Optimus Prime is hit by a direct hit from the canon, causing him to stumble backwards. Then, the giant robot you saw earlier, Megatron, appears alongside his accomplish, whom Optimus identifies as "Rumble." Megatron is controlling the hovering cannon, and taunts Optimus Prime while threatening him with the weapon.page 26
- While Optimus and Megatron do battle, Rumble sneaks towards the trailer that was once being hauled by Optimus and tears open its doors. Though Prowl attempts to stop Rumble, he is stunned by a shot from Megatron’s cannon. Megatron orders Rumble to take the microchips within the trailer to safety, while he deals with the Autobots. With a stolen crate under his arm, Rumble makes a dash towards the metal door near the Druid Stone. Before he enters the passage, he looks back, and makes sure the Autobots cannot see him through the plumes of smoke and dazzling bomb-bursts emanating from the battlefield. He will soon disappear into the hideout.
- Stand by the Druid Stone and yell at Rumble?page 34
- Run towards the reservoir?page 36
- Stay hidden where you are?page 33
- You yell at Rumble.
- Rumble turns to face you, and says that he is tired of your meddling. He then uses his sonic rifle to send shockwaves rippling through the earth in your direction. But when the shockwaves meet the Druid Stone’s foundation, they are unexpectedly reflected back towards their point of origin. You are flung aside unhurt, but the ripples have doubled in intensity by the time they have traveled back to Rumble. The Decepticon is catapulted into the air as the ground at his feet split open.page 39
- While Rumble struggles to recover, you run over to the crate stolen from the lorry. It is labelled "Computer microchips — handle with extreme care." The crate is damaged, and the silicon chips are spilling out of their container. Megatron, now in his massive flying cannon mode, hovers down next to you. He orders you to stand away from the crate. You turn to look over at the Autobots, who are coming to help you. But the Autobots are too far away to help just yet.
- Leave the crate and run?page 42
- Try to drag the crate away?page 41
- Threaten that you will wreck the microchips?page 40
- Page 42
- (Frompage 39)
- You abandon the crate and run away.
- As you run past him, Rumble attempts to make a grab for you, but Megatron orders his flunky to ignore you. Megatron commands that Rumble grab the crate instead, and the two Decepticons disappear inside their underground hide-out with their stolen cargo, the metal door closing behind them. The Autobots only arrive once this has all transpired.page 38
- In the aftermath of the Decepticon attack, many policemen lie wounded in the street. Prowl andRoller,Optimus Prime’s command module, will take the injured to a nearby hospital. Optimus explains to you that Megatron stole microchips that can be used to build intelligent computers. He and Prowl were secretly guarding them, as they suspected Megatron might make an attempt to steal the chips. Now that he has, he can use them to build more Decepticons to bolster his evil forces. Wasting no time, you show Optimus the door behind which the Decepticons disappeared.page 55
- Page 55
- (Frompage 38)
- You press the red button next to the door, and Optimus follows you into the Decepticon hide-out. You now find yourself in a corridor, and can go either left or right from this point.
- Go left?page 63
- Go right?page 61
- You take the corridor on the left.
- You soon reach Megatron’s control room, and find yourself sneaking up on Megatron and Rumble. The two Decepticons are too busy sorting through the computer chips to notice you entering the room. Optimus mutters to you that the stakes are too high for fair play, and promptly shoots Rumble in the back, sending him flying into a nearby computer unit. Megatron turns to face Optimus, and declares that what comes next may be their final battle. Optimus concedes that may be the case.page 66
- Optimus and Megatron start trading blows as you stand by, helpless. Then, you have the idea to run towards the crate of microchips the Decepticons stole. Seeing you pry the crate open from the corner of his eye, Megatron is distracted long enough for Optimus to gain the upper hand. He sends Megatron flying into a computer module. Megatron is badly damaged, and makes a run for a secret exit. Seeing his master on the retreat, Rumble takes off after him. Optimus lets the pair escape, reassuring you that they won’t be able to do much harm for a while. He congratulates you on the part you played in saving the microchips, and you cannot help grinning with pride!

- Page 61
- (Frompage 55)
- You take the corridor on the right.
- You and Optimus soon find yourselves before signs pointing towards the Decepticons’ generator room.
- Do you think it would be worth trying to sabotage the Decepticons’ power supply?page 64
- Do you think it would be more important to find the Decepticons themselves quickly?page 62
- Page 64
- (Frompage 61)
- You and Optimus head to the generator room to cut the power to the Decepticons’ computers.
- Just as Optimus begins to disconnect the cables leading out of the generators, the power cuts out on its own. Optimus realizes that the Decepticons are leaving, abandoning this temporary base. He runs out of the corridor but is too late to stop the Decepticons flying off with their cargo.page 65
- Page 65
- (Frompage 64)
- Optimus Prime sees how disappointed at your failure to stop the Decepticons. He tries to cheer you up, telling you that at least no one was seriously hurt. He promises he will continue to pursue the Decepticons, wherever they might be hiding next. Nonetheless, you are still sad, as you realize that as far as your adventure is concerned, this is…
- THE END
- Page 62
- (Frompage 61)
- You and Optimus continue to search for the Decepticons.
- Creeping along the corridor, you hear the Decepticons’ voices through a loose grating in the wall. Though the passage is too small for Optimus, he pries it open so you can crawl into it. You find yourself looking into the Decepticons’ control room. Rumble is packing away various items while Megatron studies the microchips. You wriggle your way back to Optimus and inform him that the Decepticons are getting ready to leave their base behind. Optimus becomes even more determined to stop the Decepticons before they escape, and you must now run to keep pace with him.page 63
- Page 41
- (Frompage 39)
- You attempt to drag the crate away.
- But the crate is too heavy for you to move. Thankfully, Megatron is too concerned with the safety of the microchips to open fire on you while you stand so close to the crate. Rumble recovers and grabs at your leg, but the delay has given enough time for the Autobots to reach you. Prowl takes on Rumble while Optimus closes in on his arch-foe Megatron.page 56
- The mighty robots do battle as you watch helplessly on the sidelines. Though for a moment you are afraid that Megatron will defeat Optimus, the Autobot leader is able to overpower him and throw him against the Druid Stone. The impact damages Megatron’s arm, forcing him to retreat, though not before he swears vengeance against Optimus. Rumble whines as he sees his leader flee, but is pinned down by Prowl, and taken as the Autobots’ prisoner. Optimus reassures you that Megatron will not bother you again, and thanks you for doing your part in this battle. The Autobots have achieved a great victory in preventing the Decepticons from acquiring the microchips. You cannot help grinning with pride!
- THE END
- Page 40
- (Frompage 39)
- You warn Megatron that if he dares attack you, you will destroy the microchips.
- To show him you are being serious, you grab a handful, throw them to the ground, and hover your foot over them, ready to stomp down. Megatron hesitates, giving the Autobots the time they need to arrive on-scene. Prowl decks Rumble just as the Decepticon has managed to get back to his feet, and Optimus prepares to grapple against Megatron.page 56
- You run towards the reservoir.
- But Rumble sees you and yells that he’ll see to you. He adjusts the setting on his rifle to maximum intensity, and fires low-frequency sound waves in your direction. The reservoir behind you is caught in Rumble’s attack, and its walls split apart. You cling to the ground as water spills out of the reservoir. Rumble has no time to brace himself, however, and is swept off his feet by the torrent of water.page 39
- You hide where you are.
- You watch as Rumble scurries into the underground hideout. Prowl manages to clear the policemen off the road to allow the Autobots to fight without holding back. You are in awe as you witness Megatron and Optimus do battle. But Megatron suddenly abandons the offensive, and fires several wayward shots to cover his retreat into his secret lair. He is out of the Autobots’ sight when he flees through the metal door, but you have seen it all happen clearly from your viewpoint.page 38
- Page 12
- (Frompage 7)
- You keep on running.
- The smaller robot steps through the doorway and takes aim with his rifle. You look over your shoulder, and see him pointing his weapon towards the ground. You are sure you are going to escape when a blast of sound from the rifle causes the earth beneath your feet to ripple, causing you to lose your footing. The robot walks over to you and picks you up, telling you that if he wanted to kill you, he would have done so already. He carries you back underground, to the control room where his leader waits.page 8
- The giant silver robot introduces himself as Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, and the smaller robot as his assistant, Prowl. He assures you that, despite his fearsome appearance, he is on the side of the Earthlings. The giant robot then activates a view screen displaying the roadway outside. He points to the truck being escorted by police vehicles, and tells you it is carrying vital electronic equipments that his enemies, the Decepticons, will stop at nothing to obtain. He asks you to help him in his mission to protect these components.
- Refuse to help the robot?page 14
- Agree to help the robot?page 16
- Page 14
- (Frompage 8)
- You refuse to help the robot.
- The larger robot then immediately turns his back to you, and orders his subordinate, who he now refers to as "Rumble" to take you away. Rumble complies to his leader, who he refers to as "Megatron," and grabs your arm before you can escape. Rumble hauls you over to a barred cell, and uses his sonic rifle to open its door. The sound-sensitive lock opens in response to the weapon’s high-pitch tones, and closes once more with another sonic burst once you have been shoved into the cell. Rumble says that you will rot in the cell forever before returning to Megatron’s side.page 20
- Page 20
- (Frompage 14)
- You wait inside the cell until you hear the two robots leave the underground base. You search your pockets, hoping to find something which will help you escape. All you have on you is a paperclip, which you straighten out. You come up with two different ideas; you can either try to pick the lock with the paperclip, or attempt to whistle the tone that Rumble used to open the cell door.
- Try to pick the lock?page 21
- Try to imitate the sound that opens the door?page 22
- Simply wait patiently in your cell?page 23
- Page 21
- (Frompage 20)
- You try to pick the lock with the paperclip.
- Remembering such a thing done in films, you find out that it is much more difficult to accomplish in real life. You twist the wire around a few times, but only manage in breaking off the tip of the paperclip. The Decepticons could return at any moment. Attempt to pick the lock again?
- Yes?page 23
- No?page 22
- You are still in the cell ten minutes later, when the robots return. Rumble is heaping praise unto Megatron, congratulating his leader on another victory over the Autobots. Although the Decepticons sound as though they have won a great battle, you can tell from the state in their voices that they did not emerge unscathed. Megatron orders Rumble to carry something over to a control room. Rumble then limps over to your cell. From the looks of it, he seems to have bit lit aflame in the past ten minutes. Annoyed at your staring, Rumble declares that he will now end your life, and opens the bars to your cell once more with his sonic rifle. Before he can carry out his threat, however, Megatron barks a summon to Rumble. Further annoyed, Rumble returns you to your cell and slides the bars back as he strides off.page 24
- Page 24
- (Frompage 23)
- Rumble has turned his back to you as he is walking away, and has not yet completely closed your cell door. You might be able to leap out if you are quick enough. Dare you risk escaping?
- Jump through the closing cell door?page 52
- Play it safe and stay in your cell?page 54
- Page 52
- (Frompage 24)
- You attempt to jump through the cell door before Rumble is able to fully close it.
- You creep through the hideout, wary of any robots that might leap out of the shadows at any time. You arrive at the base’s control room, where Rumble and Megatron are too busy watching a video screen to notice you enter. Rumble exclaims that the Autobots will never find their hideout. You have a chance to sneak by the pair while they are still distracted.
- Head towards the exit?page 59
- Hide in a cupboard in the control room?page 58
- Page 59
- (Frompage 52)
- You head towards the exit.
- As you approach it, the base’s outer door slides open automatically. Once outside, you notice the towering form of Optimus Prime, looking around for where the Decepticons have taken their stolen haul. He spots you waving towards him, and rushes over to you. But the Decepticons must have heard the door to their base open, as they emerge from their base soon. Rumble once more threatens to end your life, only for Prowl to punch the evil Decepticon. Prowl announces that the Decepticons will not kill anyone today. While Prowl and Rumble grapple, Optimus and Megatron face off one another.page 56
- Page 58
- (Frompage 52)
- You hide in a cupboard in the control room.
- After you’ve shut the door to your hiding spot, you press your ear against it to listen in on the Decepticons’ conversation. But what you hear is Rumble’s footsteps as he heads in your direction. At first you assume he must have seen you sneak in, but Rumble does not open the cupboard to drag you out. Relieved that your presence has still gone unnoticed, you begin looking around for something you might be able to use against the evil robots. Within the storeroom in which you are hiding, you find several items that may come in useful. Which one will you choose to use?
- A boxful of ball bearings?page 49
- An "anti-matter converter" device?page 50
- A sheet of silvered foil?page 51
- You choose the boxful of ball bearings.
- You summon up all your courage and step out of the cupboard. Rumble and Megatron turn to look at you in astonishment. Megatron orders Rumble to grab you, and you spread the ball bearings at his feet. Rumble slips on the bearings and falls heavily to the floor with a crash. Enraged, Megatron strides forwards. You realize that the ball bearings have no effect on the much heavier Megatron, as they simply crack beneath his feet. You turn to run, just as a great ripping sound echoes through the room. Megatron pauses; the Autobots have found the entrance into his hideout.page 57
- You have never been more relieved in your life as you watch Optimus stomp his way into the control room. The mighty Autobot effortlessly bats away a girder that Megatron flings at him, and sends a laser blast towards Rumble to prevent him from getting to his feet. He then charges towards Megatron.page 66
- You choose the "anti-matter converter" device.
- The Decepticons are startled to see you emerge from the cupboard so unexpectedly with the device in hand. But their astonishment quickly make way to annoyance, and Megatron points his massive cannon in your direction. With nothing to lose, you activate the device you have in hand, bathing Megatron in an eerie blue light. When Megatron tries to fire his cannon, nothing but a hollow roar of wind comes out of the weapon. It turns out that Megatron cannon is powered by anti-matter, and it cannot function so long as you continue bathing him in the rays of the converter device. Megatron is undeterred, however, and claims he can just as easily crush you with his bear hands, adding that the act may even be more enjoyable than simply blasting you. As Megatron reaches down towards you, the sound of metal tearing echoes through the room. The Autobots are smashing their way into the Decepticons’ base!page 60
- Page 60
- (Frompage 50)
- You are relieved to see Optimus Prime enter the control room. Megatron takes aim towards him with his cannon, but you continue to bathe him in the anti-matter converter’s rays, denying Megatron access to his most powerful weapon. Megatron curses you for interfering, and Optimus quickly delivers a laser blast towards Rumble to stop the smaller robot from joining in on the fighting. Optimus then charges Megatron!page 66
- You choose a sheet of silvers foil.
- You unroll the reflective material, and concoct a plan to trick the Decepticons. You use a stick of bubblegum from your pocket to tack up a piece of the foil onto the cupboard door, then fling the door open. Turning to see your image reflected on the foil, Megatron instinctively unleashes a tremendous burst of fusion energy towards it. You duck back and shield your face from the blast, which rips the cupboard door from its hinges and sends it flying directly into Rumble. Rumble is stunned by the impact. Megatron is unamused by your trick, and informs you that you have only succeeded in delaying your demise. He takes aim towards the cupboard in which you are hiding, when suddenly you hear the base’s outer door being smashed in. The Autobots have made their way into the Decepticons’ base!page 57
- Page 54
- (Frompage 24)
- You decide to play it safe and stay put within your cell.
- You wait inside your prison for hours. Rumble scurries about the base, following Megatron’s orders, but seems to have forgotten all about you. Then, the Decepticons depart, shutting down the base’s power supply and leaving you in total darkness. After a long time, you finally see a glimmer of light, and a different robot appears before you. It is Prowl, one of the Autobots. Prowl springs you from your cage, and informs you that the Decepticons have escaped with the microchips they had stolen, but he is glad that no one had to die in the process. You hope the Autobots will be able to put a halt to Megatron’s evil schemes, but your own part in the adventure has reached…
- THE END
- You try to imitate the sound that opens the door to your cell.
- You whistle a high tone and gradually make it louder, until the lock besides the cell gives off a clicking sound. Success! Rumble must’ve not known that human children have a wider range of hearing than adults, and assumed that you couldn’t even hear the noise his weapon was making, much less imitate it. You make your way to the Decepticons’ control room, finding it empty. Within it, you find a video screen displaying a view of the roadway outside. You watch as Megatron and Rumble attack the convoy you saw earlier. But the truck cab and the police car change shape into two other robots, and defend the cargo that Megatron and Rumble are attempting to steal! You puzzle out that the two new robots are the true Optimus Prime and Prowl.
- Run to the surface, where the battle is taking place?page 26
- Stay here and try to use some of Megatron’s devices against him?page 28
- Page 28
- (Frompage 22)
- You remain in the control room, and look to find a way to use Megatron’s own devices against him.
- Looking over the computer equipment before you, you decide you will have to rely on guesswork in choosing which control to activate, as you have no idea what any of them do. You settle on three choices, which one will you pick?
- A red-handled lever?page 31
- A grey switch?page 32
- A green button?page 30
- Page 31
- (Frompage 28)
- You choose to pull the red-handled lever.
- As soon as you do, all of the room’s lights go out and are replaced with red emergency lamps. A siren begins to blare, and you decide to leave when you realize you cannot deactivate it by simply returning the lever to its original position. You rush towards the base’s exit, which slides open automatically for you when you approach it. Once outside, you find yourself facing Rumble, not twenty feet away from you. Rumble deposits a crate he is carrying onto the grass before him, and aims his rifle towards you. You make a run towards the road, but Rumble informs you that this time, there will be no escape. Megatron and Prowl are too busy battling Megatron to notice that you are in danger, and are too far away to help you in any case.page 37
- Page 37
- (Frompage 31)
- All of a sudden, an explosion rips through the ground, and a huge pillar of smoke and flame erupts out of the open doorway of the Decepticons’ lair. The lever you pulled earlier must have been a self-destruct device! You dazed but unhurt by the explosion, but Rumble caught the worst of the blast, and lays stunned several meters away.page 39
- Page 32
- (Frompage 28)
- You choose to toggle the grey switch.
- All that happens is that the video screen in front of you goes blank. Toggling the switch back into place switches the image back on. You are disappointed, but admit to yourself it may be better not to toy with this strange alien technology, as you might risk blowing up the entire place or who knows what else. On the video display, you see Rumble making his way towards the base with a crate he has stolen from the convoy outside. Two heroic Autobots are battling Megatron, but are hampered by their concerned for the nearby humans. You wonder if you have time to make it outside before Rumble returns to the base.
- Leave immediately?page 44
- Hide somewhere?page 45
- You decide to attempt an escape while you still can.
- You run up to the base’s outer door which opens immediately as you approach it. Once outside, you see Rumble running in your direction with the crate under his arm. Megatron is still occupied by the Autobots. What will you do?
- Hide?page 33
- Stand by the Druid Stone and yell at Rumble?page 34
- Run towards the nearby reservoir?page 36
- You decide to hide somewhere in the control room.
- For your hiding place, you settle on a nearby cupboard. Almost as soon as you’ve concealed yourself, you hear Rumble enter the room. Peering out from your hiding place, you see that he is standing right next to the cupboard in which you are hiding. You pull the door shut while he still has his back turned to you, and you soon hear Megatron joining Rumble in the control room. The Decepticon leader tells his subordinate that the Autobots did not see them enter their underground base, and must think the Decepticons have disappeared into thin air. Megatron then orders Rumble to pack away safely the microchips they’ve stolen. Looking about you in the cupboard, you find several strange instruments. You might be able to use one of them to attack the Decepticons, but it may be safer to simply stay hidden for the time being.
- Use one of the instruments?page 46
- Wait in hiding?page 48
- Page 46
- (Frompage 45)
- You decide to use one of the nearby instruments.
- In the dim light of the cupboard, you inspect what you have at your disposal. There is a ray-projector labeled "anti-matter converter," a roll of silvered metal foil and a box of ball bearings. Which item will you try to use against the Decepticons?
- The ball bearings?page 49
- The anti-matter converter?page 50
- The silvered foil?page 51
- Page 48
- (Frompage 45)
- You decide to wait in hiding.
- After a long time, you hear Rumble informing Megatron that the Autobots are searching several miles away. Megatron takes this opportunity to depart. Once you’re sure both Decepticons are gone, you step out of your hiding place, you make your way outside of the underground base. The Decepticons have escape with their prize, and so this is…
- THE END
- Page 30
- (Frompage 28)
- You choose to push the green button.
- Watching the video screen as you do, you see a laser blast shoot out and barely miss the unconscious body of a policeman. Since you don’t know how to aim the laser, you decide it is too dangerous to attempt firing it again.
- Go outside?page 44
- Hide somewhere in the control room?page 45
- Page 16
- (Frompage 8)
- You agree to help the robot.
- The robot calling himself "Optimus Prime" is pleased with your answer. He explains to you that the Decepticons would have no trouble forcefully taking the microchips being transported by the lorry, and that they would be much safer in his hands. So, "Optimus Prime" explains that he will take the microchips to their destination himself. He then explains that as much as he would like to tell the policemen guarding the microchips of this plan himself, he’s afraid they wouldn’t trust him. And so, it is up to you to stop the convoy and explain the situation to the police. The smaller robot adds that you should be quick about it, but you do not like the tone in which he addresses you.page 17
- Page 17
- (Frompage 16)
- You easily catch up to the convoy, as it is moving very slowly to avoid damaging its precious cargo. But as you approach the road, you begin to have second thoughts. Should you really stop the police to deliver a story that they probably won’t believe anyway? Were the robots telling the truth?
- See "Optimus Prime’s" plan through and stop the convoy?page 18
- Give up and walk away?page 29
- Page 18
- (Frompage 17)
- You step in front of the convoy and wave your arms, signalling them to stop.
- The police car in front of the convoy drives ahead, and pulls up next to you. As the officer inside steps out to ask you what’s going on, the earth beneath your feet begin to quake. The policeman and yourself are flung to the ground, and you see the officer hit his head. The convoy is being attack by the two robots who claimed they were friendly! While the larger robot scatters the police motorcycles with his cannon, the smaller robot sends sound waves into the ground with a rifle, causing tremors. Then, the police car and the lorry begin to shift shape!page 25
- Page 25
- (Frompage 18)
- The police car and the lorry take on the form of two more robot warriors, surprising you and all of the other humans present. You come to the realization that these two new robots are the true Optimus Prime and Prowl, and the evil robots you met earlier had tricked you! The two new robots spring into action to defend the cargo the convoy was transporting, as well as all the humans nearby. The evil robots, now calling themselves "Megatron" and "Rumble" gain the upper hand on their opponents. Megatron first sends Optimus flying off the road with a blast from his cannon, then forces Prowl to defend you from further blasts while Rumble steals the crate filled with microchips and flees the scene.page 38
- Page 29
- (Frompage 17)
- You walk away from the road, giving up preemptively on halting the convoy.
- You have not walked far when a tremor ripples through the ground, sending you tumbling down. The robots you met earlier are now charging towards the road, while the convoy has stopped in confusion. The smaller robot pauses to address you, calling you a "treacherous Earthlet" and says he wish he could punish you for your disobedience, if only he had the time to spare. The larger robot then calls "Rumble" over to his side. You realize the robots were lying after all, and were planning to steal the microchips from the beginning. The policemen can do nothing against the giant robot warriors, and scramble to cover. But as this is all happening, the lorry and the police car’s shape begin to change, surprising everyone. - You walk to the right, away from the voices.
- After a while, the voices fade away, until you pass a grating and hear them once more clearly. The grating is loose, so you pry it off the wall, and slip into the room beyond. You find yourself in a vast control room filled with advanced technology. Within the room, you see two robots. The one that is smaller (but still much bigger than you) is red and black, and armed with a silver rifle. The other is an enormous silver and blue-gray robot, armed with a cannon. They have not noticed you yet.

The smaller robot, called "Rumble" by his master, whines that the Autobots are already secretly guarding the microchips. "Megatron" tells his subordinated to be silent, so that he can plan an attack that leaves nothing to chance. After hearing this, you retreat back to the main corridor, and hastily return to the exit before you are spotted.page 13
- You return to sitting peacefully near the Druid Stone.
- You look up to the nearby reservoir, daydreaming about fantastic adventures. Then, a loud roar makes you sit up with a jolt. To your surprise, you see two robot warriors attacking the convoy driving down the road. The larger one, called "Megatron" by his subordinate, is forcing the police to scatter with blasts from the cannon he sports on his arm. The smaller robot, called "Rumble" is ordered by his master to grab what they’re after so that they can swiftly escape. Rumble complies, and strides towards the lorry. Before he reaches the cargo he is after, however, the the lorry and the police car begin to change shape, and transform into two other robots. "Optimus Prime and Prowl!" gasps Megatron...page 26
