WhenVigilemdestroyed theTetherand left Cybertron's orbit, theTechnical Specialistswere tasked with hunting him down aboardLodestar.They brought an imploder along as a precaution, something that made Lodestar and herCityspeakerLightbrightextremely uncomfortable. After finding Vigilem docked at the colony ofHexagon,things escalated and Lodestar was forced to engage the rogue Titan. Despite a heavy combat refit, Lodestar was still in danger of being overwhelmed by Vigilem, and Lightbright reluctantly ordered her partner to use the imploder. Enclosing it in her fist, Lodestar punched the imploder into Vigilem's torso and activated it. Lodestar lost her arm in the process, but Vigilem's body was ripped asunder and his shredded remains drifted into a nearby star.Light/Star

WhenZetar's team discoveredExarchon's hidden fortress in theSonic Canyons,an imploder was among its deadly store of weapons.War's End Part TwoOrdered to the Canyons byMegatron,Skywarpdiscovered the fortress and the imploder, claiming it for the Decepticons.War's End Part Four

Setting the imploder's timer for one second,Fate of CybertronSkywarp teleported in front ofOptimus Prime's convoy and used the threat of the imploder to hold them in place until the rest of the Decepticons arrived.End of Time

When the Decepticons arrived, Optimus and Megatron came to blows, Skywarp using the imploder to deter any Autobots who tried to interfere. WhenComputronarrived, Skywarp lowered his guard, allowingJumpstreamto tackle him and teleport both away. Rematerializing inunspace,Skywarp found himself atomically intermingled with the imploder and his energon vented. As Jumpstream left for the universe, she warned him that if he somehow managed to return to normal space, the imploder would detonate.Fate of Cybertron
