The Transformers
- Jetfire(Autobot Air Guardian,1985)
- Accessories:"Photon Missile Launcher", rifle mounting pod, "Turbo Thruster" booster pack, 2 leg guards (left & right), 2 arm guards, 2 fenders
- Known designers:Shōji Kawamori(Takatoku Toys)
- Released in the second year of theHasbroTransformerstoyline, Jetfire is aredecoof theTakatoku ToysMacrossVF-1S Super Valkyrie. Jetfire features three modes: robot, jet, and an "alternate transformation" (called the "Gerwalk" form inMacross, and the "Guardian" form inRobotech) that deploys his arms and legs injet mode.Additionally, Jetfire comes with several red pieces of armor and a rocket booster backpack that can snap onto his arms, legs, and back in any mode. He has noticeably more articulation than the otherTransformersin the line at the time.
- The shoulder assembly where the jet mode folds in half forrobot modeis one of the more commonly broken parts in the earlyTransformerstoy line. Additionally, the thin, rigid plastic used on the armor pieces puts their attachment clips at high risk of breaking off; anyone actually transforming a Jetfire in this day and age would be better offgentlypulling the peg-and-socket-construction armor pieces apart and then reuniting them around his arms and legs without relying on the clips. And finally, the small black clip-piece that attaches Jetfire's rifle to his jet mode is possibly one of the most commonly missing accessories on secondhand Jetfires, if not secondhand Transformers all around. The fact that the instructions don't tell you what to do with it doesn't help. The piece is used to hold Jetfire's rifle via the clip attached to the arm, as well as under the jetmode as a belly gun. It is very difficult to find a complete Jetfire toy, let alone an undamaged one. The figure's white coloration is also heavily succeptible toyellowing, even if properly stored.
- Early specimensof Jetfire featured theMacrossU.N.Spacy logo on the wings; the very earliest had this painted on, while a mid-stage release used asticker. These "Macross" Jetfires also have an extra black stripe across the jet canopy, and the robot head guns have more complex sculpting with thinner plastic at their bases.
- For what should bescreamingly obvious reasons,Jetfire was not released in theTakaraFight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformerstoyline.
Generation 2
- Jetfire(Cyberjet,1995)
- Takara ID number:TRF-16
- Accessories:2 armor-piercing missiles
- Known designers:Takio Ejima(TakaraTomy),Masakatsu Saito(concept artist)
- Jetfire was released in the HasbroGeneration 2line as part of the secondwaveofCyberjets. He is a redeco of the DecepticonHooligan, transforming into a proposed swing-wing naval variant of the F-22 Raptor. He is armed with a pressure-launched missile fired from his right arm, which also forms a weapon in fighter mode. He can also store his extra missile on his forearm/jet undercarriage via simple friction-tabs.
- This toy was released in the TakaraG-2line, missing the factory-applied stickers on his vertical stabilizers, but otherwise identical to the Hasbro toy. It also came with anextra decal sheetfeaturing white tiger markings, extraGeneration 2Autobot symbols, and "battle damage" markings.
- Apparently, the decision to market the redecos as separate characters was a last-minute change of plans that was only put into use in America and Japan; in Europe, Hasbro supposedly stuck to the original idea for said assortment (here named "Mini-Jets" ), with the redecos being sold asrunning change color variantsof their wave 1 mold-mates instead, in unchanged packaging featuringpackage artin the original deco and the original character's name. Thus, Hooligan was available in Jetfire's colors but still marketed as Hooligan himself. This practice is only confirmed for the versions available in multilingual French/Dutch/German packaging; thus far, no specimens in English/Spanish/Portuguese packaging or in ItalianGiGpackaging have surfaced. This would also explain why the "Jetfire" release of the figure has Decepticonfaction symbolstickers, despite being released as an Autobot.
- This sculpt was also used to makeRobotmastersR-Blade,UniverseWind Sheer, andBotCon 2005Ricochet.R-Blade's expanded bio in theRobotmasterssourcebook specifically mentions Jetfire as the leader of the Autobot Cyberjets, even though no mention of this is made in Jetfire'sGeneration 2bio, in the U.S.orJapan.

Titanium Series
- Jetfire(6-inch Cybertron Heroes,2006)
- Accessories:2 cannons, display stand with removable nameplate
- Known designers:Don Figueroa(concept artist)
- Titanium SeriesJetfire is based onDon Figueroa's design as seen inDreamwave'sThe War Withinminiseries, which in turn was based on Figueroa'sscratch-build customTransformer,Strikefire. He transforms into a Cybertronic fighter plane with armor add-ons.
- As with allTitanium Seriesfigures, Jetfire's toy is constructed of both die-cast metal and molded plastic, and it comes with a plastic display stand featuring his name and his faction logo. In jet mode, landing gear can be deployed from underneath the fuselage and both legs. In robot mode, the two wing cannons can be removed to be held by the robot either separately or combined together into a single weapon.
Classics
- Jetfire(Voyager Class,2006)
- Accessories:Rocket Booster pack, two-piece rifle, 2 missile launchers, 2 missiles, helmet
- Known designers:Eric Siebenaler(Hasbro),Takashi Kunihiro(TakaraTomy),Masakatsu Saito(concept artist)
- ClassicsJetfire's design is an amalgam of the original cartoon/comic model for Jetfire/Skyfire and the original toy. It not only features removable armor like the original toy, but the toy-inspired head can be removed like a helmet to reveal a cartoon/comic-inspired head. The Cybertronic swing-winged fighter jet mode is primarily based on theF-14 Tomcat(itself the inspiration for theMacrossVF-1 Valkyriedesign), but with various visual elements taken from Skyfire'scharacter model, most notably the squared-off nosecone. The toy's add-on booster packs have flip-out reveal cannons, and it also features arm-mounted spring-loaded missile launchers.
- An unexpected level of detail can be found on the black non-firing rifle; when it is assembled, the halves of the gun's "sight" come together in a way that would be functional on a full-size weapon.
- The toy's design was first featured on the solicited cover toIDWStormbringer#1. Contrary to popular belief, it was not designed byDon Figueroa.
- A "ghost"redecoof this toy, with black plastic and silvery electric paint deco, was shown byHasbroin a news broadcast about their attempts to cheer up a Rhode Island orphan. Sadly, this version was never released.
- This mold wasretooledto make theBotCon 2007version ofDreadwind, andredecoedto make theUniverseversion ofTread Bolt.
- Jetfire(Legends Class, 2006)
- Known designers:Joe Kyde(deco artist)
- This toy is aredecoofLegends of Cybertron-classThundercracker,transforming into an Su-37 fighter jet. His cannon, while movable, is permanently attached to his left arm.
- This mold was later redecoed intoUniverseStarscream, and thenUniverseSilverboltfrom the Target-exclusive"Special Team Leaders" Legends-class figure pack.
- Jetfire and Grimlock Twin Pack(Two-pack, 2007)
- Accessories:Rocket Booster pack, two-piece rifle, 2 missile launchers, 2 missiles, helmet
- In Asian markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, Voyager Class Jetfire was also made available as part of a special two-pack with Deluxe ClassGrimlockin late 2007. Aside from the unique packaging, the toys are identical to their single releases.
Henkei! Henkei!
- Skyfire(Voyager,2008)
- ID number:C-06
- Release date:July 17,2008
- Accessories:"Hydrogen-fuel Turbo Thruster Pack", two-piece rifle, 2 photon missile launchers, 2 infrared homing missiles, helmet
- Henkei! Henkei!Skyfire is a redeco ofClassicsVoyager Class Jetfire. The primary changes to his deco are mainly for better resemblance to Skyfire's Generation 1 cartoon model's appearance (in particular painting most of the canopy to make it appear smaller), rather than the Jetfire/Macrossdesign. Of amusement is the fact the fighter's airbrake has been painted blue to be a faux secondary canopy. As with allHenkeitoys, he lacks the heat-sensitive rubsign seen on theClassicsrelease, but instead has somevacuum-metallizedparts (his jetpack's exhaust nozzles).
- It also includes amini-mangadetailing the events that lead to Skyfire's appearance in theHenkei! Henkei!universe (mini-manga universe, that is).

You bet your smokingafterburnersI was destined to be repurposed!
- Dark Skyfire(Voyager,2010)
- ID number:C-06
- Release date:March 18,2010
- Accessories:"Hydrogen-fuel Turbo Thruster Pack", two-piece rifle, 2 photon missile launchers, 2 infrared homing missiles, helmet
- Part of theGentei! Gentei!subline ofHenkei!,"Dark Skyfire" is aToy Hobby Market-exclusiveblack redecoandretoolofClassicsVoyager Class Jetfire. The primary changes to his deco are mainly for making him, uh, darker. Specifically, he's cast in glossy black and purple plastic, with painted purple details and new thin white stripes on his wings. The tips of his backpack cannons have been significantly remolded to make the barrels and stalks on which they are mounted a single, newly-jointed piece, with the result being that the cannons' bodies stick out ever so slightly from their housing. This change is likely to make the barrels more durable under the constant spring-loaded strain of being hidden, as well as allow one to pivot and deploy the cannons without sliding back the panels that are keeping them hidden, due to the fact that deploying the cannons this way with the previous tooling often resulted in the (detachable) tips of the cannons to pop out and send them flying. As with allHenkeitoys, he lacks the heat-sensitive rubsign seen on theClassicsrelease, but instead has some vacuum-metallized parts (his jetpack's exhaust nozzles).
- The extent of Dark Skyfire's 'Dark' originally varied from image to image: early pre-production mockup images showed a dark matte grey similar to e-HobbyAstrotrain,whilst later images appeared gloss black with high-contrast silver details, leading to speculation that this redeco is the previously unreleased 'ghost'ClassicsJetfire. Some possible hints of this remain, such as the HasbroClassics-styled open cockpit instead ofHenkei'shalf-painted version, as well as some entirely new paint operations, such as the added stripes on the sides of the intakes just behind his shoulders.
- Pre-orders for Dark Skyfire opened up onNovember 12thand closed onDecember 11th2009,with the toys finally shipping in March of 2010.
- This figure wasrepurposedasShattered GlassJetfireandWings UniverseZardak.
- Jetfire(Voyager,2013)
- Release date:August 15,2013
- Accessories:"Hydrogen-fuel Turbo Thruster Pack", two-piece rifle, 2 photon missile launchers, 2 infrared homing missiles, helmet
- Exclusive toCybertron Con 2013,Jetfire features a similar deco to the regularHenkei! Henkei!Skyfire but with more white, the red being metallic paint, and most notably Decepticon insignias on the wings. Uncharacteristically for aHenkei! Henkei!figure, he lacks vacuum-metallized parts. Additionally his box (in monochrome blue) features a lot of English text including the Hasbro market name andbio, even though the box is otherwise following the originalHenkei! Henkeipackaging design, down to the line's Japanese title logo.

Generations
- Jetfire(Leader Class,2014)
- Series / Number:02 / 001
- 21 OF 30
- Accessories:"Photon Missile Launcher", 1 missile, "Turbo Thruster" booster pack, 2 leg mounted cannon/guards (left & right), 2 arm mounted cannons/guards, removable battle mask
- Known designers:Joe KydeandJohn Warden(Hasbro),Takashi Kunihiro(TakaraTomy)
- GenerationsThrilling 30Jetfire's design is an amalgam of the original cartoon/comic model for Jetfire/Skyfire and the original toy. It features removable armor like the original toy, but the toy-inspired head can be removed like a mask to reveal a more proportioned cartoon/comic-inspired head. The jet mode is again based on a navalizedF-22 RaptorwithF-14 Tomcat-like variable geometry wings (The F-14 itself being the inspiration for theMacrossVF-1 Valkyriedesign), but with a faux cockpit reminiscent of his Skyfire'scharacter modelunderneath the jet's fuselage, most notably the faux squared-off nosecone in his robot mode. The toy's add-on booster pack which can be rotated 360 degrees, arm and leg mounted cannons arevacuum-metallizedbright metallic red. Jetfire also carries avacuum-metallizedspring-loaded "photon" missile launcher/rifle. All five weapons can combine into a larger weapon, and the removable face armor can be stowed by plugging into the rifle while both arm cannons can also be attached to the peg hole located on both sides of his Turbo Thruster pack. This toy first appeared as Jetfire's new body in the "Dawn of the Autobots"arc ofThe Transformers: Robots in Disguise.
- All versions of this mold have a design flaw in the strut that connects the pelvis to the chest. The very small, very thin plastic on either side of where the strut pins in between the legs has a tendency to eventually break, especially after repeated transformations. The primary cause appears to be when the friction pin starts to work its way into both the inner and outer pieces. Checking the clearance between the pieces and the position of the pin can help prevent untimely damage. Some units also have aninsanelytight pin hole here, where it requires less force toratchet the pieces apartthan to rotate properly. Removing the pin and opening the hole on the inner piece of the joint can also lengthen the effective lifespan of the figure.
- This mold was also retooled intoGenerationsCombiner WarsThundercracker,Starscream, andSkywarp.
- Silver Jetfire(Contest prize, 2014)
- Accessories:"Photon Missile Launcher", 1 missile, "Turbo Thruster" booster pack, 2 leg mounted cannon/guards (left & right), 2 arm mounted cannons/guards, removable battle mask
- Limited to only 3 pieces, Silver Jetfire is a redeco of the Leader Class toy above, featuring silver paint on both his paintable andunpaintablewhite parts. The toy was released as a contest prize in AEON Malaysia, which ran from 15 September to 15 October 2014. To enter the competition, participants needed to collect the contest flyer first, purchase the regular Leader Class Jetfire toy, and then answer one simple question regarding Jetfire's alternate mode. Hilariously, while the actual answer is Jet, there are 3 additional answers:Yacht,Bus,andMotorcycle.
Kre-O
- Jetwash(Micro-Changer, 2014)
- Bag number:40551 53
- Accessories:2 buildable rifles
- Kre-OJetwashcan be rebuilt from robot mode into a jet. He sportsProwl's helmet and theStarscreamwing-backpack. He also comes with 2 buildable guns, which are formed from his jet tail fins and pistols. He uses a chesttampographbased on theoriginal Jetfire toy,but the leg deco is based on the"Skyfire" cartoon model.
- Although the stock photos show the guns being nudged completely into the red parts, there isn't enough space to do so. Several samples of Jetwash had balance problems with the legs's ball-joint holes, causing the figure to fall over if not placed on a display brick. However, a few samples had perfectly balanced leg parts. Good luck finding them.
- He was available in the fifth assortment ofblind-baggedKreonMicro-Changers,available only atToys "R" Usstores in the US and Canada.
- Skyfire(Gacha Micro-Changer, 2015)
- Accessories:2 buildable rifles

- Set numberB5152
- Voted:The Brain
- Accessories:Bazooka

- He was only available in a 30-Kreon set, originally made for sale atSan Diego Comic-Con2015. The leftovers were then made available onHasbro Toy Shoponline.
Hero Mashers
- Jetfire(Action Figure, 2014)
- Pieces:9
- Accessories:Wing-pack
- Part of the second wave ofTransformersHero Mashersbasic Action Figures, Jetfire is a non-transforming action figure with ratchet-joints, about six inches tall. He has multiple peg-holes all over that can be used to mount anyHero Mashersaccessory.
- He is designed with a removable head, forearms, thighs, and lower legs, all of which use the same clip-peg/hole joint. This means his pieces can be swapped around in any order, as well as swapped with any otherHero Mashersfigure... which includes figures fromMarvel Comics,Star Wars, andJurassic World, meaning you can make some pretty freaky combinations.
- Rather than coming with a (nominally) hand-held weapon accessory, Jetfire comes with aredecoofStarscream's wing-backpack, with parts painted red to resemble the original toy's back-mounted jet thrusters. Of course, being aHero Masherspiece, it can be attached anywhere, including being hand-held, and since it's got multiple gun barrels on the wings, hey, have at it.

Cyber Series
- Jetfire(Cyber Battalion,2017)
- Accessories:2 Guns
- Released in the second wave ofGenerations: Cyber SeriesCyber Battlion class figures, Jetfire is a retool of theStarscreamfigure from the previous wave. He changes from jet to robot in a few easy steps and includes two guns which can be held in his hands, pegged onto his arms, or mounted underneath his vehicle mode wings. Unlike the base mold, his wings can swing in and out like his original G1 figure. However, there are two pegs on each wing that are used to lock them in position (either full sweep or high-maneuverability), and a lack of clearance requires the wing assembly to be opened to move them in addition to unpegging them from the back of the arms.Stock photography(shown to the right) has unpainted, red hips, yet final product has them painted over in white.
Revolution
- Revolution Set(Multi-pack,July 20,2017)
- Accessories:"Photon Missile Launcher", 1 missile, "Turbo Thruster" booster pack, 2 leg mounted cannon/guards (left & right), 2 arm mounted cannons/guards, removable battle mask

He was packed with several otherHasbro Universeaction figures:Matt TrakkerofM.A.S.K.,Action Man,LeoricofVisionaries,RoadblockofG.I. Joe,Romand aDire Wraith,and 9Micronautsmini-figurines.
- This Jetfire uses a thicker tab that was previously used for the Seeker retools, causing a slight gap in the jet mode.
War for Cybertron: Siege
- Jetfire(Commander Class,2019,2022)
- Hasbro ID number:WFC-S28
- TakaraTomy ID number:SG-26
- TakaraTomy release date:July 27,2019
- Hidden message code:SKYFIRE
- Accessories:Left & right "JF-25 HS Photon Missile Sky Launcher" rifles, 2 "HSPhoton Missiles,"2 two-part" JF-15 HP JetboostParticle Beam Cannons,"2" SF-M2 Radiograph Booster "two-part double-cannons," Skyshield Aerial Armor, "" Skyshield Battle Mask, "computer core, 2 three-part"Fire Blast effect"pieces
- Known designers:John Warden(Hasbro),Shogo Hasui[1](TakaraTomy)
- The first of the large "Commander Class" toys, this iteration of Jetfire is basedheavilyon his 1984cartoonandcomiccharacter model, transforming into a Cybertronian superjet with a massive, brick-like top-mounted "Turbo Thruster Booster Pack". He is one of the few toys in theSiegelinenotsporting battle damage paint applications, though he does have a very light 'reentry fade' on his lower legs and nosecone.
- In robot mode, the faction symbol on his chest can flip around to be either Autobot or Decepticon, a reference to the originalThe Transformerscartoon episode "Fire in the Sky"and to recreate his faction swap in theSiegecartoon (alternately, you can pretend he's performing theRite of the Autobrandas seen in the original Marvel comic). The5 mm post-hole rings in his hands are designed to recess into his palms when his fingers are extended forward so he looks less awkward in an open-handed pose. Adding the Skyshield Aerial Armor and Skyshield Battle Mask gives his robot mode aslightlymore original-toy appearance. Some copies may have difficulty attaching his chest armor properly due to the small flip-out panels not lining up perfectly: pulling the chest panels open and then putting them back once the armor is attached can help, or it can be attached by a single panel instead of both. While Jetfire does have ankle tilts, there are small but fairly strong clips that lock them in, so a bit of force may be required to unlock them.
- In jet mode, along with deployable landing gear with rolling wheels, he features four pop-out handles on his underside that allow otherSiegefigures (or any toy or accessory with a 5 mm grip) to hang underneath him, letting him air-drop his comrades into battle. He can also carry up to threeTitan MastersorPrime Mastersin jet mode: removing the filler computer core inside his cockpit (by folding down the nosecone) reveals space for one Master, while the back end of the Turbo Thruster Booster Pack lifts up to reveal space for two more Masters. Oddly, this feature is not shown in his instructions. The core also has a 5 mm hole in it so um... there's that. There is a 5 mm hexagonal port on his underside that appears to be for heavier-duty flight stands, since it is recessed too far to peg in any of his own weapons. Some transformation joints on his wings can also simulate working air flaps. During development, the jet was originally designed as a different "Cybetronian" jet akin to the rest ofSiege, but Shogo Hasui pushed for it to more closely match his cartoon appearance instead, just like the robot mode.[1]
- In either mode, his many manyC.O.M.B.A.T. Systemweapons can be mounted on him in a variety of ways. His two "JF-25 HS Photon Missile Sky Launcher" rifles can be combined into a single double-barreled gun vaguely similar to the original animation model's double-barreled cannon. In this configuration, they form the core of a massive pile of weapons and armor that goes on top of his jet mode (as if he wasn't anti-aerodynamicenough). Inanotherundocumented feature, his "JF-15 HP Jetboost Particle Beam Cannons" and "SF-M2 Radiograph Booster" double-cannons are two-part weapons that can be pulled apart for even more versatility. He also has a large number of 3 mm "blast effect" hardpoints all over his body and on the tips of his weapons. His two multi-part blast effects have 5 mm posts with 3 mm holes in the middle on each part, making them very versatile in simulating his jet thrusters or outgoing or incoming weapons fire. Jetfire was also intended to interact with theWeaponizerSixgunin jet mode, though this was, once again, never advertised.[2]
- For those curious, the computer core accessory appears to be a reference to the episode "Fire on the Mountain",where a close-up ofSkyfire's cockpit interior is shown as he is being defrosted byWheeljack.[3]
- Unfortunately, Jetfire is among one of a long list of figures to suffer fromphotodegradationin hisunpaintable plasticparts, as a result of unknown causes.
- Bizarrely, manyWalmartstores in the US put him on instant clearance, causing him to ring up at $40 rather than the actual $80 he's supposed to cost. This made some people very happy.
- This figure saw reissues in late-2022 and mid-2024 and was also redecoed intoShattered Glass CollectionJetfire.

Huge and probably breaking copyrights, and yet somehow he's still outpriced by thetruck.

- Masterpiece
Jetfire"Skyfire" is an absolutely humongous figure, nearly 14 inches tall inrobot mode, about 2 inches taller than theSiegeCommander-class toy above. Inspired by the Generation 1 cartoon in design, he transforms into a space jet.
- Skyfire comes with a multitude of accessories. For vehicle mode, there is a display stand, and three small, articulated figurines ( "Convoy", "Meister", and "Wheeljack" ) that scale with the vehicle mode and can ride inside of it. Skyfire features several opening hatches for this purpose. As for robot mode, Skyfire comes with three robot faces, including one based on the original maskedMacrossdesign (no antennae though). He also has three interchangeable chest plates displaying an Autobot insignia, a Decepticon insignia, and one that is blank, to replicate the scene in "Fire in the Sky"where he removes his Decepticon badge and changes allegiances to the Autobots. Also inspired by that same episode, Skyfire's helmet opens up to reveal a brainwave monitor. Lastly, he has his iconic" Photon Missile Launcher ", which can be used in robot mode or clipped onto his vehicle mode.
- And yes, he is able to turn into a gerwalk mode. Awesome.
- Confirmed in an interview seen in the 278th issue ofFigure Ōmagazine, Skyfire was officially revealed onJune 2,2022.InJapanthis figure wasexclusivetoTakaraTomy Mall.
- On many specimens, the large strong springs inside Skyfire's ankles shove too firmly against the pins holding his heel extensions in place, preventing the feet from opening fully flat and thus interfering with some standing poses.

First 4 Figures
- Jetfire(
2006/2007unreleased)
- Intended for release inFirst 4 Figures' "Generation One" series, this would have been a full body resin statue of Jetfire. When his digital sculpt was shown to ASM website staff at New YorkToy Fairin February 2006, they noted that Jetfire was depicted holding thehelmethe had inDreamwave Productions'comics.[4]First 4 Figures allowedBigBadToyStoreto solicit him for sale the same month.[5][6]
- Unfortunately, Jetfire and the rest of the "Generation One" series were casualties of the general discontinuation of First 4 Figures'Transformersoutput, which was attributed to a challenging market and a lack of retailer support.
Attacktix
- Jetfire(Booster,

- Whatever the case, he would probably have included a stand in the shape of an Autobot badge.

The set also comes with a redecoedVAMPrepresentingHound,a newSnake-Eyesfigure bearing an Autobot symbol, aBaronessfigure withRavageon a leash, aBludgeonfigure, and aBlasterboombox with cassette pieces representingSteeljaw,Ramhorn, andEject.
- The box set was announced via aUSA Todayarticleon June 5, 2013, along with Hasbro's other Comic-Con exclusives.
- OnJuly 22,2013,Harmony Gold, owner of the rights to theRobotechfranchise and U.S. claimant to theMacrossrights, filed a copyright infringement suit against Hasbro. In the filing, Harmony Gold argued that the release somehow infringed upon the intellectual property of the Veritech, but noted that "damages are difficult to ascertain". They demanded that Hasbro recall all Jetfires that had been sold, that all Jetfires (including the recalled ones) be either destroyed or handed over to Harmony Gold, and that Hasbro turn over all profits relating to the sales; this was to happen in addition to payment for all actual damages to Harmony Gold (despite Harmony Gold itself not knowing how much the actual damages were) and all punitive assessments assigned against Hasbro.
- Subsequently, an order was filed on September 23rd, 2013, todismiss the case with prejudice, implying that Harmony Gold and Hasbro have reached a settlement. Although confirmation of a settlement, much less details thereof, has not been revealed, the fact that the case was dismissedwith prejudicemeans that Harmony Gold cannot sue over the Jetfire issue again. By early October the set was made available onHasbro Toy Shop, where it quickly sold out.

Notes
- As mentioned above, unlike most of the earlyTransformersrange, the Jetfire toy was designed byTakatoku Toys, being aredeco(with minor retools to blunt the nosecone and add two tabs to keep the wings from their forward-most position) of their 1/55MacrossVF-1S Super Valkyrie.Naturally, because he was not designed byTakara,Jetfire was not released in Japan, since the toy (or, at least, a dozen variations of it) was released by one of Takara's rival toy companies.
- Jetfire'sGeneration 2colour schemenearly inspired theUniversemulti-pack incarnation of the Mini-ConTerradive,but this did not come to fruition.
