John Grant(May 22,1930-February 23,2014) was a British author who had written many works forLadybird Books.Between 1985 and 1988 he wrote a series ofTransformersbooks featuring many characters from the respective year's toylines and more.
In addition to hisTransformerswork, Grant also wrote other Ladybirds featuring characters such asMasters of the Universe,The FlintstonesandHenry the Hound.
