Josh Nizziis a freelance concept artist. A native of Champaign, Illinois, Nizzi is well known amongTransformersfansfor his Movie concept ofLong Haul.According to Nizzi, the design attracted the attention ofHasbro'sTransformersdesign directorAaron Archer,who wanted him to do concepts for the then-unnamedTransformerssequel, and soon after, directorMichael Bay's studio hired him on as a concept artist forTransformers: Revenge of the Fallen.This eventually lead him to doing concept art for multiple blockbuster films, including theMarvel Cinematic Universefilms, where his best known designs are the Hulkbuster armors.
His Long Haul design was the first to be approved from any of the artists, and Nizzi was also responsible forJetfire,the powered-up combined form ofOptimus Primeand the redesign ofMegatron.[1]ForDark of the Moon,Nizzi continued Megatron's evolution, as well as designingShockwave,SoundwaveandLaserbeak,theWreckersandDreads...pretty much everybody exceptWheeljackandBrains.
He also designed theKing,which he considers to be the best design job ever. Period.

- Nizzi also designed an Autobot AH-64 Apache named Longbow, which he entered for aUSA Todaycontest to design a Transformer. Nizzi admitted being a professional, he was slightly cheating and wouldn't mind disqualification, butUSA Todaystill showed off the character.[2]The design was later used as an inspiration forTomahawkin the2010Transformerstoyline.
