Notes
- "One-box design",of which the Nissan Vanette is a quintessential example, is a car style which lacks separately defined areas for the engine and trunk, as opposed to the more common two- and three-box designs (e.g. station wagons and sedans, respectively).
- Inthe first issue of the Marvel comic, there is a gun platform on theArkthat strongly resembles this component.
- This component is absent in Ironhide and Ratchet'scharacter models, where the robot transforms directly into the whole vehicle. Therobot modeitself was extensively redesigned, giving these characters averylow degree oftoy-accuracy.
- This component is not mentioned in the text of the characters'bios,Universeprofiles,orMore than Meets the Eyeprofiles, but it is included in the artwork.
- Other Ironhide and Ratchet toys have been produced that do not include this component. Notably, theMasterpiecetoys incorporate the entire vehicle into the robot mode, but each toy comes with an accessory storage tray that resembles the original component.
