Robert Fredrick Paulsen III(bornMarch 11,1956) is a formerly bemulleted American voice actor. Among many, many,manyroles in his extensive career, Paulsen has been the voice of Yakko fromAnimaniacs,Pinky fromPinky & the Brain(oppositeMaurice LaMarche),TripwireandSnow JobfromG.I. Joe: A Real American Hero,Steelbeak fromDarkwing Duckand PJ fromGoof Troop.Paulsen is well-known for his work with theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesfranchise, voicingRaphaelin the 1987 cartoon,Donatelloin the 2012 cartoon, and voice-directing 2018'sRise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
From 2011 to 2019, he hosted a podcast and webseries called "Talkin' Toons with Rob Paulsen" in which he interviewed various voice actors based inLos Angeles,many of whom have provided voices for pastTransformersseries.

- Although Paulsen was identified on casting sheets as the voice ofChasein "The Rebirth, Part 1",the character does not actually speak in the episode (oranyepisode). Paulsen can be heard as a voice carried over a P.A. system insideAutobot City,leaving many toassumethe one speaking was Chase, but none of us were there. We don't know.
- For the June 2014 episode of "Talkin' Toons", Paulsen did a show focused entirely around theG1 cartoon,featuring fellow voice actorsGregg Berger,Neil Ross,Charlie Adler,andHal Rayle.Jon Baileyintroduced the episode in character asOptimus Prime.[1]
