The Seekers attempt to extract the location of the Ark from Windblade's memories.

Synopsis

OnCybertron,Bumblebee plays with a trainingcubewithWindblade,and despite his best efforts it's theCamienwho gets the upper hand. The two friends agree to a rematch...and Windblade is unaware that this entire experience is just one of her many memories, replayed for the benefit ofSlipstream!

Windblade briefly comes to long enough to fruitlessly struggle against her bonds; although Slipstream asserts that they've gotten everything they need from Windblade'sbrain module,Windblade is able to call the Decepticon's bluff by goading Slipstream's toadiesThundercrackerandAcid Storminto revealing that they don't have what they need yet. Slipstream orders the two to perform amind rip,potentially jeopardizing Windblade, but, as Slipstream points out, they needallthe data they can extract from her mind. They do so, but Slipstream is frustrated by the lack ofusefuldata, and so she storms over and cranks the console controlling thecortical psychic patchup as far as it can go. Before she can assess the results,Thrustcalls with a message for the Seeker leader: it's almost time for her report toStarscream... and this time,Shockwavewill be sitting in on the meeting as well.

Slipstream leaves, ordering her subordinates to continue the process while she stalls for time with the Decepticon air commander. The pair crank up the machine as high as it will go to get results as fast as possible; in doing so, however, the feedback triggers a debilitating pulse of energy, knocking the pair offline and radiating through the entire Decepticon complex... including Slipstream.

Slipstream comes to some time later to the sound of an irate Starscream berating her for wasting their time. Staggering over to the console, she does her best to cover for her recent failures, but Starscream isn't having any of it, unaware that her guards are offline and Windblade has taken advantage of the pulse to break free and escape, hacking into the Decepticon's files. Starscream shouts that as soon asheshows up on Earth, he'll demote her as low as she can go before terminating the call; Shockwave, on the other hand, points out that for all her failures she's done one thing right: she's located thespace bridgethat brought Windblade to Earth in the first place, and ifPerceptorcould fix it, than so can Slipstream and her Seekers. Shockwave tells her that he has a plan of his own; he's coming to Earth to find theArkand seize the AllSpark for himself.

Windblade's exploration of the Decepticon files continue apace until her two guards also come to, and after dispatching them once more Windblade makes her escape, disarmingNova Stormand Thrust along the way. With all of her guards down, Slipstream takes matters into her own hands and goes after her Autobot escapee, stealing herStormfall Swordafter taking her out. The pair duel in the missile silo's central antechamber, with Windblade's detachable fans proving more than a match for the Seeker. Eventually, Windblade is able to retrieve her sword and make a break for the exit... only for Slipstream to recover and try to drag her back in - at which point she's rescued byBumblebeeandTeletraan-X!The drone explains how they came to retrieve her, and as the trio reunite Windblade explains how she's escaped with some information of her own that she liberated from the Decepticon network—the location of another Autobot!

• Acid Storm's animation model is tweaked starting with this episode, giving them the same ( "female type" ) Seeker head as Nova Storm and Slipstream, instead of the "male type" previously used.
• This episode marks the first time any of Windblade's personal memories have been seen.

Animation and technical errors

• Slipstream's wings retract in, then extend out again without any animation, after the Seekers wake up Windblade.
• Slipstream's wings retract without animationagainwhen she leaves to speak to Shockwave and Starscream. They are extended when she gets hit by the energy wave.
• Nova Storm once again lacks the trim on her cockpit, an error carried over from the lastthreeepisodes.
• Thundercracker's eyes are open when Windblade wakes up after the energy blast, despite still being unconscious.
• When Windblade throws one of the machines at Thundercracker, his cockpit is light blue and lacks any trim or Decepticon symbol.
• When Slipstream confronts Windblade in the missile silo, Slipstream calls her "Wingblade".
• When Windblade runs into Slipstream, her wings are extended, only to be retracted in the next shot, lacking any animation in between.
