Known as the "Magic-Bullet Marksman",Smokesniper(スモークスナイパーSumōkusunaipā) has deadly aim even at high speeds. He's fairly modest about his exceptional shooting ability, simply doing his job without the glory-hogging that typically accompanies skilled Decepticons. Some think he's a bit soft, which might lead to some trouble among his teammates.

Or it would if Smokesniper hadn't teamed up with the time-displaced DecepticonGigant Bomb.The two can merge to form the super-aircraftGigant Sniper,but Gigant Bomb is enough on his own to deter even the most foolish Decepticon from any disparaging remarks.

Part of the third wave of Takara'sRobotmasterstoys, Smokesniper is aredecoof theGeneration 2DecepticonSmokescreentoy, transforms into a fighter jet of undetermined (probably made-up) model. He can also combine withGigant Bomb'svehicle modeto form the large stealth bomber jet "Gigant Sniper". He has two side-mounted spring-loaded rocket launchers that become hand-weapons inrobot mode;the missiles for these (and Gigant Bomb's launcher) have been retooled (again) to give them two grooves down their length, corresponding to twin guide-rails added to the sides of the launching tubes of his cannons. These missiles alsoonlywork with Smokesniper and Gigant, and prior versions of the missiles do not work with their launchers.

He also comes with the uniquesolitariumweapon "Radial Pod", a non-firing double-barreled blaster, which can combine with Gigant Bomb's unique weapon, the "Pulverizer". Smokesniper's hands and leg-mounting points have been slightly retooled to accommodate the smaller peg size of the line's solitarium weapons, and as such, his launcher's handles have been similarly downsized.

Smokesniper is the only iteration of this mold that was sold separately from its larger counterpart.
