Stella Holley(ステラ・ホリーSutera Horī) is a 26-year-old employee of a paperware manufacturer in or aroundSeattle,Washington.Like most humans, she is drawn into theTransformers' war by coincidence, butunlike most, she does not expressly ally herself with or against theAutobots.Instead, she does what she can to help theMini-Consestablish a home onEarth,away from the Autobot-Decepticonwar, despite any dangers put in her path. She is compassionate, brave and proud, and endlessly impressed at how alike humans and Mini-Cons are, despite their physical differences. She can understand the Mini-Cons' standard binary language thanks to a mental link of the sort formed when a Mini-Con bonds with a "Bulk".

Of all the Mini-Cons, she is emotionally closest to theSuper Stunt Team,especially its leaderRedline.

Stella first encountered the Transformers as she entered her company's parking garage after work. TheSuper Stunt TeamofRedline,Flat-Out,andServohad just turnedher carinto a turbo cannon viaPowerlinxin order to destroy a pair of pursuingFixer Bugs.Linkage Part 1After Redline formed a mental link with her and explained their plight, she hid the Mini-Cons in her home and helped them in their plans to build a Mini-Con haven on Earth.Linkage Part 2

She accompanied the Team and the newly awakenedRollbarto theDeccan PlateauinIndia,where ashuttlefromCybertronhad landed. Stella was to act as the interpreter for the Mini-Cons to negotiate for technology from the shuttle, should the shuttle pilot be an Autobot. (In the event it was a Decepticon, they had jury-rigged a portable warp-gate small enough for only their use to escape through.)Linkage Part 3When theSpeed Chaser TeamofUnicron-aligned Mini-Cons attacked, Stella managed to defend a mode-locked and upended Servo from a Fixer Bug, but it was the intervention ofScavengerthat saved Stella and the Super Stunt Mini-Cons in the end. Stella talked with Scavenger, and he let the Mini-Cons have his ship on the grounds that they forget they ever saw him. However, she began to suffer the effects of heatstroke shortly after, and the Team quickly got her home with their new shuttle.Linkage Part 4Stella felt guilty for passing out, as it had distracted her friends from going after Rollbar, who had gotten bonded to Scavenger. The Super Stunt Team assured her it was not her fault and explained to her the Mini-Con programming that had compelled Rollbar to leave with Scavenger. During the explanation, another Mini-Con, whom was introduced to Stella as the Super Stunt Team's old friendFalcia,appeared and demanded that Redline hand over one of theMini-Con storage panelshe kept inside him; namely the one containing a teammate of Falcia's. She also made sure to call the team cowards for not going out to fight the Decepticons,Linkage Part 5which prompted Stella to tell Falcia to back off and behave. Not impressed, Falcia referred to Stella as the Super Stunt Team's pet, angering the human greatly.Linkage Part 6

Stella was present whenTwirlwas revived thanks to the combined efforts of Redline and Falcia. She asked the later two mini-cons if Twirl was their baby, considering the circumstances of her revival. Both "parents" quickly and loudly denied this.Linkage Part 7

After theSonic Assault Teamjoined up with Redline and crew, Stella went with the Mini-Cons to one of theHawaiianIslands, where Redline set up a device that would unlock theMaster Keyprogram that would give all Mini-Cons unrestricted access to a vast power well, enabling them to break their programming blocks and Powerlinx-activatedServility Programs.Redline entrusted Stella with the protection of the last two Mini-Con storage panels he held while he underwent the upgrade process.Linkage Part 9

When the monstrousRavenusensnared Servo and Twirl, Stella fought back to save them in a battle mech made from her car, transformed by Powerlinx energy provided by Flat-Out andFalcia.She was able to knock Servo free from his link-port, but Ravenus escaped with Twirl.Linkage Part 10Realizing they needed more backup, Stella released the two Mini-ConsImpulsorandQuenchfrom the storage panels, and the two called their team leader,Kingbolt,in to assist.Linkage Part 11

With Ravenus restored to his original, uncorrupted Autobot state and theDoomstonehe held within him contained, all of the "free" Mini-Cons that had awakened when Redline activated the upgrade gathered on the island in order to return to Cybertron with the Autobots so they could protect the planet from Unicron.Linkage Part 12After a tearful goodbye, Stella returned to her job, taking up drawing as a hobby and a way of remembering her friends. A year after the Mini-Cons left, her red hair spontaneously began to turn platinum blonde—a sign from her friends they had returned, as Stella had made a passing remark to them about wishing she could change her hair color as easily as they upgraded their systems.Linkage Part 13

It is assumed that she and her Mini-Con friends reunited shortly thereafter at the newMini-Con cityon Earth that Redline and his friends created.

Toy pack-in comics

After Unicron was defeated, Stella worked with the Autobots and Mini-Cons to help restore Cybertron. While welding a damaged chunk of metal back together, she and her partnersJetfire,Cliffjumper,andRefutespotted a group ofSeekersflying overhead, Stella noting that they seemed to be in quite a hurry. Jetfire followed them back toPredacon's lab, though they managed to escape, and he led Stella and the others there to investigate. While looking around, Stella discovered a large tube that once housed one of Predacon's experiments, noting with concern the presence of animal-like claw marks on its casing.Armada Volume 5
