Every member of theAqua Raider Teamis a cruel and dirty pirate, and its female memberSunburn(サンバーンSanbān) is certainly no exception. The classic "vamp", Sunburn delights in tormenting her victims both physically and mentally.

The Aqua Raider Team was sent toHawaiito capture theSuper Stunt TeamandSonic Assault TeamLinkage Part 8,or at least hold them off long enough for theSpeed Chaser Teamto arrive with the massiveRavenus.WhileBilgeandFreebootinvaded theMini-Cons' shuttle base,which they found to be empty, Sunburn was on backup patrol and observed the energy discharge that signaled the unlocking of theMaster Key.The Aqua Raider Team charged in, but were easily captured by the newly powered-upRedlineandCombusta.Linkage Part 9Sunburn was forced by Combusta to reveal her side's plan, revealing the reason behind the actions of the mini-cons loyal to Unicron.Linkage Part 10

When Ravenus capturedTwirl,Sunburn joked about whether or not Redline could catch up with the escapingBulkin time. Combusta overheard her and used her new powers to extract from Sunburn everything she knew about theDoomstoneheld within Ravenus.Linkage Part 11When Redline andKingboltwere able to stop Ravenus and contain him, the Aqua Raider Team retreated viatrans-phase mode,which let them slip through their energy wall bonds and return to their dark masterUnicron.Linkage Part 12

Though Sunburn is not explicitly shown in the final battle whereAutobot,DecepticonandMini-Conalike faced off against Unicron, it is assumed she was part of that final battle, since Freeboot is shown to have been there, and it is highly likely that she met her end there.Linkage Part 13

Legends of the MicronsSunburn is aredecoof theSea Mini-Con TeammemberOceanglide,transforms into a turbine-driven boat with a "solar sail" assembly and a pressure-launch missile under the sail. This weapon is also available in robot mode, attached to her right arm.

She was only available with the first run of the tenthLegends of the MicronsDVD in Japan, and came with thetenth installmentof theLinkagecomic.Later pressings of the disc, however, did not include the toy or comic.

This mold was also used to makeSolar.
