Revenge of the FallenSuperion is a redeco ofEnergonAir Team/Superion Maximuscombiner. Superion is composed of his five team members, with Silverbolt forming his central body component. His limbs'energon weaponsform his hands and feet. Similarly toGeneration 1'sScramble Citycombiner teams, Superion features universal connection points for the limbs, allowing many different combinations and even swapping of limbs from different teams.
Superion wasexclusivelyavailable atTargetstores in the USA and at Zellers stores in Canada, and as a mass market release in the United Kingdom. His components were not available separately, only in a combiner five-pack.
LikeBruticus Maximus, this toy was originally intended to be released as part of the 2008Universeline asGeneration 1Superion,but was ultimately only released inUniversepackaging on non-US markets such as Singapore and Australia, whereas the USA, Mexico and Canada got the toy inRevenge of the Fallenpackaging instead.

Notes

  • Due to a widespreadassembling error,Silverbolt's knees are backwards, preventing correct movement. A part swap (that involvesverytiny pieces and springs thatreallywant to pop out) can correct this, unless you are unlucky enough to own a sample with one correct leg and one incorrect leg. However somereallylucky ducks have one that actually has both legs correct.
  • According to the instructions and packaging photos, Airazor forms Superion's right arm, Fireflight forms his left arm, Skydive forms his right leg, and Air Raid forms his left leg. However, the layout of the figures in the packaging moves all the limbs one position clockwise (seen from the front). Because his limbs are all interchangeable, you can have it either way! Or neither way!
