TheTransformers Museum(トランスフォーマーミュージアム) is a multi-day event that occurred in Japan in August2010.It took place in the Seibu department store in Otsu betweenAugust 3andAugust 8,and in the Sogo department store in Yokohama betweenAugust 10andAugust 16.

The museum consisted of a series of in-store displays, including toys from every Japanese toyline, monitors showing episodes from variousTransformersseries including dubbed Western series, and artwork and displays from all eras of the franchise. Also on display were theBumblebeeCamaro, and large statues of movieOptimus Primeand Bumblebee, plusAnimatedOptimus Prime.

Ablack redecoof the standard Voyager Optimus Prime, Optimus Prime Black Version was available exclusively at the Japanese "Transformers Museum" event held at the Seibu department store in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture fromAugust 3rdtoAugust 8th,2010. The figure was limited to 300 pieces, cost 4,200 yen, and came in a grayscale version of the original toy's box with a golden sticker on the window declaring its name.
