R-Blade(アールブレイドĀru Bureido) is a member of theCyberjets,and works as a consul atAutobot City,working on matters of diplomacy with thehumansofEarth.When pressed into battle, his "Sonic Lance" missiles are loaded with a wide variety of warheads, giving him a great many combat options. Thankfully, he has the skill to properly exploit those options.

He's a bigJetfirefanboy, which explains his colors.^[1]

Part of the first wave of Takara'sRobotmasterstoys, R-Blade is aredecoof theGeneration 2CyberjetHooliganmold, transforming into the swing-wing Navalized Advanced Tactical Fighter variant of the Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor, with a deco clearly inspired by the originalJetfiretoy. In both modes, he has a pressure-launch missile launcher (dubbed the "Gauntlet Frame" ). Unique to this version of the mold is the silver-chromed "Flare Gun" weapon. He also only came with a single "Sonic Lance" missile, unlike other versions of this sculpt, which came with multiple missiles.

R-Blade's "Flare Gun" weapon was later given to a redeco of2007 MovieLegends ClassStarscreamthat was included in aToys "R" Usexclusivefour-pack.
