Arcee (Cyberverse)
From Transformers Wiki
The name or term "Arcee" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Arcee (disambiguation). |
- Arcee is an Autobot from the Cyberverse continuity family.
Arcee is a loyal member of Optimus Prime's crew with an adventurous streak a mile wide. No chance of danger is too high to dissuade her from seeking out something new, with plenty of selfies taken to document the things she's seen and the places she's been. It's therefore no surprise at all that she's one of Grimlock's closest friends.
She also REALLY likes guns. Like...to a worrying degree.

After it was determined that Optimus had made a mistake in launching the AllSpark, the Ark was launched to retrieve it, Arcee amongst its crew. As the ship sailed through the void however, its energon stores dipped forcing the crew into stasis pods. Teletraan-1 eventually tracked the AllSpark to Earth only for the Ark to suffer a hull breach and crash land in Mount St. Hilary. Some 66 million years later, Arcee, along with the rest of the crew, was reawakened by Bumblebee and Teletraan-X in time to see the Decepticon fleet invade Earth. Eruption
The Cybertronians eventually became known to humankind, Sea of Tranquility with Arcee using this publicity to visit a zoo and take photos of herself with the animals. She later used her photos of the animals she had encountered on her travels to help Bumblebee identify the creature he saw on the moon. The Visitor
Once the AllSpark had been retrieved, the Autobots set course back for Cybertron, enjoying a victory celebration on the way. Along with her crew-mates, Arcee fell victim of Wheeljack's malfunctioning AllSpark Energy Emitter Badges, driving her to attack everything in a maddened rage. Optimus eventually managed to shut down the chips, and later made the ultimate sacrifice, dancing, to get the victory celebration back on track. Party Down
After forty cycles of maddening boredom, Arcee joined Grimlock in visiting a nearby nebula only to find it uneventful. When the duo returned, they found that their ship and crew-mates had been immobilized by an electromagnetic storm that the dull nebula had shielded them from, with Arcee snapping a selfie of her and the prone Hot Rod. As Arcee theorized how to reboot the ship, she found Grimlock's attention seized by a flock of Air Hammers. As the two marvelled at the creatures, they soon realized that the beasts posed a threat to the immobilized ship. Recreating the plan used against the Bantors, the duo lured the Air Hammers away via a pimped out Autobot shuttle and Arcee mimicking an Air Hammer call.
As she and Grimlock patted themselves on the back, they remembered that Air Hammers heralded meteor showers. Recalling the time the Ark ran across the crystal ice moon, Arcee and Grimlock broke out the heavy artillery and shot the rocks from atop the hull. Once they were all taken care of, Arcee reminded Grimlock that comets were often the herald of a supernova. As realization set in, the two tried to use the AllSpark and the prone Cheetor to reboot the shields. Eventually the two tried to use their sparks to restart the ship and as they quarrelled over who would sacrifice themselves, Teletraan-X showed up and simply pressed a big red button to reboot the ship allowing the supernova to pass harmlessly. As normal operations resumed, Arcee smiled to Grimlock that they should go on another such adventure in the future. Perfect Storm
As the Ark entered Cybertron's atmosphere, Hot Rod asked other Autobots what they planned doing once they got home. Arcee replied that she wanted to kick back and relax after unpacking all her souvenirs from Earth. Battle For Cybertron I Along with the rest of the crew, Arcee bailed out of the ship when Optimus suspected a Decepticon trap. She took part in the fight with the amassed Decepticon forces, during which she rode on Grimlock's back while opening fire only to be blasted by Alpha Strike. She recovered in time to fight Sky-Byte. Battle For Cybertron III Despite the drones' intimidating appearance, the Autobots soon overcame their shock and leapt back into battle, their nimbler frames allowing them to fell the war beasts before Bumblebee and Cheetor returned the AllSpark to the Well, revitalizing the planet and ending the war. Battle For Cybertron IV
After the Great War was won in the Autobots' favor, Arcee was among the Transformers imprisoned by the Quintessons in the Loop, which made her relive the same five minutes of a parade over and over, during which she was talking selfies with her friends. The Loop The Sleeper Arcee was eventually freed from the simulation alongside the other Autobots thanks to the Cybertronian resistance, who got them to transform when they unleashed Air Hammers into the Loop. The Scientist
As part of a team-building exercise, Arcee was placed in a team with Bumblebee, Shadow Striker, and Lockdown, taking on swarms of drones. The Alliance When it was determined that the only way to destroy the Quintesson flagship was to draw out the Judge and its army, Iaconus' cloak was deactivated and Arcee joined the fight against the endless Sharkticon and Prosecutor hordes alongside Shadow Striker and Lockdown. When both the Judge and the ship were destroyed, a new Judge hovered out of the wreckage revealing itself to be Starscream. The Judge
Like the rest of her species, Arcee was imprisoned by Starscream, intending to draw out the trial by humiliating Optimus Prime and Megatron. The End Of The Universe I As Starscream continued his temper tantrum, Arcee lied that Prime and Megatron were hiding out at the Lithium Flats and the Core of the Singing Lights at Binary City before inviting her friends to join the lying. Seeing through the ruse, Starscream seized Arcee and intended to execute her before Iaconus reactivated. The End Of The Universe II
Held in Starscream's tractor beam, Arcee was sent falling back into the cell when the Judge intervened in Iaconus' dual with Croaton before they were all freed by Maccadam and sent fleeing before the Titans destroyed the coliseum they were held in. The End Of The Universe III After Starscream had managed to slay Iaconus, it seemed as though his victory was assured before Megatron returned and saved the universe. With the Quintesson threat ended, the Transformers formed a truce. The End Of The Universe IV

Enemy Line Hanging out with Hot Rod and Grimlock in Maccadam's, Arcee witnessed the revival premiere of Alien Hunt!, celebrating its return. Alien Hunt! With Meteorfire And Cosmos
Suspecting that Megatron was up to something, Optimus Prime sent Arcee to scout Decepticon territory but she could not find any unusual activity to report. Rack 'n' Ruin 'n' Ratchet When another scouting party discovered evidence of an oncoming threat, Arcee attended a briefing on the subject only for Optimus to freeze up as the Matrix called to him. Dweller In The Depths
Along with Hot Rod, Arcee was assigned to mission control duties when the larger Autobot force snuck across the border, assuring Optimus that the army was on standby if need be. When a hemisphere encompassing shield went up however, the Autobots in Iacon lost contact with the strike force. Silent Strike Once the threat had passed and peace properly returned to Cybertron, Arcee joined her friends in cheering Windblade's return. The Other One
After raiding the Tomb of Nexus Prime, Arcee and Grimlock fled from a giant invisible bird. They escaped in a shuttle, and after taking inventory of their loot, including the Enigma of Combination, realized they were unfashionably late for the signing of the peace treaty. When they returned to Cybertron, they found the entire population time locked by Trypticon’s Mercenaries. The pair armed themselves and split up to search the planet to discover the cause of everyone’s immobilization. Arcee saw Buzzsaw flying overhead, and followed him back to Trypticon’s ship. She confronted Soundblaster and the other Mercenaries, but Soundblaster froze her like the rest of Cybertron. Afterburner left her upside-down at the top of a stack of similarly immobile Cybertronians, where she was discovered by Grimlock. Grimlock and the Dinobots carried her through various battles, and she was eventually restored along with the rest of the planet, and Grimlock introduced her to his new friends. The Immobilizers
Following Tarn’s invasion of Cybertron, Arcee was attacked by Decepticon supersoldiers along with Wheeljack and Clobber, but held them off with help from Lockdown. Arcee joined Hot Rod and the other Autobot forces underground to form a plan to take back the planet. The Autobots attacked Tarn’s forces, and Arcee charged into battle with Chromia to attack several supersoldiers. She later looked on in shock as the smoke cleared following Soundwave’s sacrifice. The Perfect Decepticon

- Arcee (Deluxe Class, 2020-2021)
- Build-a-Figure part: Maccadam's shoulders and weapon (2020 release only)
- TakaraTomy release date: November 28, 2020
- TakaraTomy ID number: Action Master-07
- Accessories: Blaster, effect parts
- Action Attack: "Dual Energon Lasers"
- Released as part of the Cyberverse Deluxe Class lineup, Arcee is a show-accurate mold that is more poseable than most figures of the toyline and comes with three pieces of the Build-a-Figure Maccadam. She also comes with a blaster based on her in-show firearm, with two effect parts to go with it. In vehicle mode, the effect parts can mount in 2 holes on the back of her trunk, simulating an energon boost. The effect parts can be held in her hands to emulate the dual blue swords of many other Arcee toys. She is nearly a complete shellformer, with her entire vehicle mode folding up onto her back, and only her forearms contributing anything to her alternate mode at all.
- Some releases of this figure experienced rapid discoloration of the lighter pink parts in only a few months, leaving the forearms, thighs and neck parts yellowed even if not exposed to sunlight. Amusingly, this discoloration results in orange-colored parts.
- Arcee was released twice: First in 2020 under the Bumblebee: Cyberverse Adventures subline imprint, and then again in 2021 in the line's final Dinobots Unite subline imprint packaging refresh. The second release omitted the Maccadam Build-a-Figure part.
- Arcee (Tiny Turbo Changer, 2020)
- Series: 3

- Series 3, as far as can be told, was never released in the US, appearing only in Canada, Germany, Norway and Taiwan. While a few figures from this Series did see re-release in the short-lived Series 5, Arcee was not one of them.
