Beak was among the Transformers with beast modes that were kidnapped and subsequently "domesticated" by the Decepticon Demus, who intended to sell them off as "Roboid" torture dolls. After being freed thanks to the efforts of Fortress Maximus and the Scavengers, Beak and the other Roboids were taken to Luna 1 for treatment. Animals The procedure to reverse their domestication was very long-winded and Beak still had yet to undergo it some months later when he accompanied Outrigger on a "Titaneering" expedition, recording his achievements as he scaled the summit of Giganticus Gigantor Giggernaut one of the Titans in the Luna 1 graveyard. Beak attempted to warn Outrigger of the arrival of Sentinel Prime via space bridge but when the Titan Master stabbed Outrigger through the chest, all Beak could do was grab his datapad and flee to warn Fortress Maximus, Cerebros, and Red Alert. He returned with them and the recently arrived Prowl to find Outrigger injured but alive, though Sentinel had succeeded in reactivating the Titan. Ten to Midnight

After using Cerebros's brain implant to reactivate the offline Prowl to fight off Sentinel and Red Alert (now revealed to have been Sentinel's sleeper agent for millions of years) Beak and the others retreated back to Tyrest's old base, itself also a Titan. While Fortress Maximus used the brain implant to take control of it and prevent Sentinel's army of Titans from crossing through the space bridge, Prowl, Cerebros and Beak returned to confront Sentinel. Things looked bleak after Prowl and Cerebros were shot off their M.A.R.B.s and Sentinel managed to reassert his control over Red Alert's mind, but Beak saved the day by swooping in at the last minute and knocking Sentinel Prime into one of the moon's planetary engine exhausts, seemingly ending his threat forever. Before Beak and Outrigger returned to Cybertron, Fortress Maximus asked them to join a rescue mission to Necroworld to rescue Team Rodimus. Upon arrival, the two fled from Fangry before Maximus saved them. When the group discovered Tailgate within an isolation chamber, Outrigger hooked up Beak's super-optics to the monitoring system to allow them to see inside the chamber. A grim sight greeted them as they found evidence suggesting Tailgate had succumbed to spontaneous spark combustion. Sardines

Returning to Luna 1, Fortress Maximus sanctioned the use of the brain implant to repair the Roboids, which greatly sped up the process. Once he was repaired, Beak left Luna 1 for Cybertron, along with Outrigger. Last Light
