Beast Wars Special Super Lifeform Transformers (ビーストウォーズ スペーシャル 超生命体トランスフォーマー) is a Japan-exclusive triple-feature animated film produced for the Japanese Beast Wars franchise. It was composed of one segment for each of the Beast Wars, Beast Wars II, and Beast Wars Metals cartoons.

Synopsis
Part 1: Clash! Beast Warriors
The first segment, known as "Clash! Beast Warriors", is a "compilation film" made up entirely of clips from the first season of Beast Wars cut together with newly recorded dialogue to form a complete, if disjoined narrative, that summarizes the basic story of the show so far. After defeating the Predacons in a major battle, the Maximals attempt to return to Cybertron, but their efforts fail, and they then face destruction at the hands of a mysterious race of aliens, until Optimus Primal sacrifices his life to destroy their orbiting weapon.
Part 2: Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger!
The second segment of the film, "Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger!", is an isolated original 45-minute episode told through cel-animation using the cast from Beast Wars II. Galvatron uses an alien time machine to summon the alien superweapon Majin Zarak to Gaia, but Optimus Primal travels through time to join forces with Lio Convoy and defeat him.
Part 3: Beast Wars Metals
The final segment is the episode "Bad Spark" (retitled "Beast Wars Metals") from the second season of Beast Wars. As this film was released nearly a year before any other episodes from the season, it opens with a short recap of the events that follow the end of season one, explaining how Primal survives his apparent death, and how the Beast Warriors become Transmetals. As it was released theatrically, the episode was not aired as part of the Beast Wars Metals TV show, with a new clip show, "Where Is the Banana?", taking its place in the broadcast run.
Film Book
A fairly lengthy guidebook was released by Kodansha under the Comic BomBom magazine title called Beast Wars Special Super Lifeform Transformers Film Book (ビーストウォーズ スペーシャル超生命体トランスフォーマーフィルムブック), and features a manga-styled retelling of the three segments using screencaps of the film's episodes. The book also advertises some of the US Beast Wars figures (some of which had been released by Takara as imports), as well as the special releases of Optimus Primal and Lio Convoy (in their "Burning" and "Flash" forms, respectively) that were sold to promote the film.
The book also features write ups on the voice cast, and also features cartoon character model line art of all of the Beast Wars II film's cast with their Tech Spec data. The character models featured in the Tech Spec portions are specifically the cartoon's version of the second-half characters (designed by either Hiroyuki Taiga, Takahiro Yamada and Hiroshi Ogawa), rather than the ones designed by Takashi Yamamoto (see his article for more detail on this). However, as Majin Zarak and Optimus Primal only appear in the film, and not the cartoon itself, their models are the only ones designed by Yamamoto that are included.
Notes
- As a promotional tie-in, any child brave enough to purchase a package of Beast Wars II Sausage and survive eating them was awarded with a magic seal card containing information on characters appearing in the movie as well as a coupon discounting the price of admission.
