Draxhall Jump
From Transformers Wiki
Draxhall Jump is a Toronto-based studio, driven primarily by comic book artist Ken Lashley, that has worked on a variety of multimedia projects such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics, the early 2000s return of G.I. Joe, various children's books, magazines, and other products. Amongst Transfandom, they are best known for creating concept art for the Beast Machines toyline and the cancelled Transtech toyline. They also did design work for Armada, but their only design to make it through development basically unchanged was Demolishor.[1]

- ↑ "Kickback thats not the full story of how it works.... it is very rare that a outside studio "designs" a TF toy. They contribute more as Stylist for some products that need extra attention. DHJ worked on a couple of Armada items and the only one that really stayed the same from their design is the Demolishor Vh. I did the robot and it was based on a Takara model, so it is hard to give any one group "credit" for being the one responsible for a given product. As for DW they are very busy working on the comics and have been squeezing package art into that busy schedule, so I often Do not have them as a resource. Most of the time it works like this: I pick a vh type and send Takara pics from a mag or rough sketches of my own or from time to time use DHJ or DW or others to flesh a idea out a little. Takara might send us a cool model and I wrap the style of the vehicle around their feature. On the whole 80% of the "Designing" Is done in house or with/by the Takara designers. DHJ have done some concept work for the future look of the Robots. Ways we might go in 2004. And yes I am working on 2004 product."—Aaron Archer, TFW2005, circa 2002
