Furão
From Transformers Wiki
- Furão is an Autobot from the Animated continuity family.
A while back, Furão, a young cop, was stationed on the Flash Frenzy, when it was hit by Decepticon saboteurs while docked at a depot. As the depot exploded, Furão saved the day by crawling through the conduits to collect magnetic coating to power the ship's solar sails, just enough to push the Flash Frenzy away from its dock to safety. This brave act is how he received his name, which means "ferret" in Old Malignus.

Notes
- "Furao" is given by the character's (leaked) model sheet. He (among 30 gazillion others) wears the 65356-9292-346 body-type. Furão's name (with a tilde) was confirmed in The AllSpark Almanac II, as well as the story of how he got his name, as told by Chase.
- His wartime escapade is based on a real wartime tale: the crew of the USS Intrepid (CV-11) jury-rigging a sail to return to port after being bombed. [1]
- Furão is Generation 1 Bumblebee's Brazilian name in their adaptation of the Marvel comic. It means "ferret" in Portuguese.
