Ilxian

That is not dead which can eternal lie...

The Ilxians are a race of spacefaring aliens with deep, dark eyes and tentacly heads from Ilixios. They are about the same size as the average Cybertronian. Some of them are friendly to (or at least non-hostile towards) the Autobots, while others aren't even aware Cybertronians exist.

The Ilxian star trawler Yar picked up a near-death Blaster, who had been left floating in space. Captain Ku'arn then got in contact with the Autobot Orbital Command Hub and returned the missing communicator. Spotlight: Blaster

At some point, an Ilxian Class V Tantiv-Nas starship crashed on the planet LV-118, killing all aboard except one Ilxian and two other aliens named Garnak and Codder. Granting himself the title of Admiral, the Ilxian spent years repairing the ship and experimenting with ways to power it, damaging the planet's atmosphere in the process. When Rodimus ended up on the planet, the Admiral tried to use his Matrix as a power source, but the Autobot fought back and managed to steal his ship. Space Opera Part 1: The Stars My Destination
