Jim Lee (born August 11, 1964) is a Korean-born American comic-book artist. Early in his career, he illustrated the covers for The Transformers Marvel comic.
To most comic fans, he is most well known for his work on the X-Men series, Batman: Hush, Superman: For Tomorrow, and Justice League, as well being one of several artists (alongside Rob Liefeld & Whilce Portacio) who broke away from Marvel Comics to form Image Comics and WildStorm. Alongside co-creating several characters like Gambit, Omega Red, Trevor Fitzroy, Fabian Cortez, David North, Hush, Grifter, David Graves, Sin Tzu, Gen¹³, Wildcats, and Stormwatch.
He now serves as President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, formerly alongside Dan DiDio.
