Manta

The Manta is a special vehicle developed by V.E.N.O.M., primarily operated by Vanessa "Ice Queen" Warfield.

2005 IDW continuity

Vanessa Warfield drove the Manta into battle against the Transformers Kup and Aileron in Athens, Greece. Using the Manta's flight capabilities, Warfield engaged Aileron in the air, taking fire from the young Autobot but remaining unscathed. The Divine Source of Liberty Warfield later flew it in M.A.S.K.'s assault on Autobot City The New Colossus and used it to shoot Optimus Prime before Matt Trakker ordered M.A.S.K. to fire on Baron Karza. Warfield then landed the Manta to attend to the downed Miles Mayhem. Valley Forge

During V.E.N.O.M.'s attack on M.A.S.K. in Barbados, Manta pursued Gloria Baker's Shark until it was halted by the Thunderhawk. M.A.S.K. #2 When M.A.S.K. and V.E.N.O.M. battled in the streets of Toronto, Manta and Rhino pursued the Thunderhawk, Condor, and Jackhammer. Warfield was forced out of her vehicle by Julio Lopez. What became of the Manta after that is unknown. M.A.S.K. #5

Evidently, Warfield either got the Manta back or built a new one, as she and Cliff Dagger used it to steal the head of Astrotrain from G.I. Joe. She was then sent to recover another piece of Astrotrain with Bruno Sheppard, where the two engaged with Brad Turner and Tunnel Rat. The Deathstone

After rescuing Sly Rax from prison, Warfield took the Manta to attack M.A.S.K. as they were fighting Shawn Berger. M.A.S.K. #9

When V.E.N.O.M. was absorbed into Cobra, Cobra scientist Scrap-Iron rebuilt the Manta, modifying it to be able to combine with the Sly Rax's Piranha and Bruno Sheppard's Rhino to form the giant snake robot King Cobra. G.I. Joe: First Strike After V.E.N.O.M. formed the King Cobra in New York City, the mech was ultimately taken down by G.I. Joe. M.A.S.K.: First Strike
