Meanstreak was one of many next generation Transformers created on Earth in the early 21st century. While they were created without factions in mind, some of the more unruly Transformers came together under Clench as a Decepticon Syndicate, causing trouble worldwide. Meanstreak and a number of others consolidated under Pyro as an Autobot team after Clench's failed attempt to kidnap the Queen of England.
In 2010, Meanstreak was part of an Autobot first-response team that learned of a Decepticon attack on the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. They were rebuffed by the Syndicate and their borrowed Sharkticon hordes, forced to fall back and regroup. On their second attempt, the majority of the team occupied the Decepticons in front while Meanstreak, Streetwise, and Rapido sneaked in the back to rescue their kidnapped leader, Pyro. They managed to find him quickly enough, but were confronted by some Decepticons augmented by the new mutagenic fuel source, forestonite. Meanstreak was pitted against the Auto Roller Roadblock, easily twice his size and barely tickled by the Power Master's laser fire. As fate would have it, though, Breakdown blasted the pressurized forestonite gas, causing it to spread and mutate the Autobots as well. Meanstreak finally managed to tackle Roadblock using a forestonite-based energy surge from his vehicle mode, knocking the not-so-gentle giant to the mat. Generation 2: Redux
In 2984, Meanstreak was hanging out at the Galadria Space Bridge Outpost in the Delta Prysmos Sector when a pirate ship appeared overhead and dropped a bomb on him and several other passersby. Hoist the Flag

Toys
Generation 2
- Meanstreak (Power Master, 1995)
- Power Master ID number: PM3
- Accessories: 2 guns
- Meanstreak transforms into a blue and bright yellow dragster funnycar of undetermined model. As a Generation 2 Power Master, Meanstreak's gimmick revolved around his powerful pull-back motor. After pulling back on his vehicle mode, inserting one of his guns into the left slot on his spoiler releases a catch in the motor and allows him to zip along a smooth surface. This feature also works in robot mode.
- Despite being sold as an Autobot, complete with "AUTOBOT" emblazoned on his windshield, his side-panel decals use the Generation 2 logo with a Decepticon sigil. He's not the only Autobot toy from around this time period with the wrong faction sigil...
- Along with the other Generation 2 Power Masters, Meanstreak was one of the last toys in the Generation 2 line, and was only released in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Oddly, the Australia and New Zealand releases were in U.S. packaging, complete with Hasbro's Rhode Island address.
Notes
- While it's never explicitly stated, the Wingsverse Meanstreak seems to hail from Canada, based off his use of the word "hoser".
