• In our non-mirror Quadwal universe, the Ottoman Empire held, at its peak, much of Southeastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa (where Carbombya lies in The Transformers cartoon) and collapsed shortly after World War I, leading to the formation of the modern Republic of Turkey Türkiye. How much of this territory is comparably held by the Ottoman Confederacy in Shattered Glass is nigh-impossible to determine (given the significant differences in geography and history that we have so far glimpsed), but the mentions so far suggest a (very rough) analogy.
• Similarly, we can likely presume that the House of Osman was important in some historical capacity (as the state is named for them), but they are presumably not in charge now (owing to the mentions of Fakkadi as President).
