Regeneration One

The Dark Matrix sought a way to escape Primax 512.5 Gamma and ascend into the multiverse by creating a crack in the fabric of Zero Space Loose Ends, Part 5 The War to End All Wars, Part 5 through which it could pose as Primus and send Hot Rod on a journey Destiny, Part Four through different points in history, and even alternate timelines entirely, whence he obtained the Creation Matrix and became Rodimus Prime. Less Than Zero However, this all transpired according to the Dark Matrix's plan, as it required the power of a Matrix in order to cross over into the multiverse. The War to End All Wars, Part 5

The corrupted Matrix entity then abducted Spike Witwicky, spiriting him away to Zero Space The War to End All Wars, Part 4 and torturing him to widen the crack. Rodimus used the Covenant of Primus to return to Zero Space, summoning a small army of different incarnations of himself from various corners of the multiverse to keep the Dark Matrix busy while he closed the crack with the Sword of Primus and severed Primax 512.5 Gamma from the rest of the multiverse forever. Notes

  • Primax 512.5 Gamma is the universal stream designation of the Regeneration One comic series. Its specifications come from the publishing date of "Counterpoint".
  • Its overwriting of Primax 207.0 Epsilon refers to Regeneration One "replacing" the Classicsverse as a main sequel to the Marvel Generation 1 comics, just as the Classicsverse had overwritten "Another Time & Place". It may also be a reference to the proximity in time between the end of the Classicsverse (April 26, 2012) and the first story of Regeneration One (May 5, 2012), which took place within two weeks of each other.
