Fiction
The Transformers cartoon
During the time when the Quintessons controlled Cybertron, a Bailiff, Judge and Executioner were watching a gladiatorial match when one of the combatants attacked them. The Quintessons were all later forced to flee the planet after their own creations rose up against them. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4
During the Quintesson court sessions on Quintessa, Bailiffs escorted prisoners from the cells to the courtroom before standing on platforms on either side of the accused. This was demonstrated for Kup and Hot Rod when a pair of Bailiffs dragged Kranix from the neighboring cell. The Bailiffs later fled along with the Judge after Grimlock turned the Sharkticons against their masters. The Transformers: The Movie After Ultra Magnus, Spike Witwicky and Kup were captured, a group of Bailiffs and an Allicon escorted them from the cells along with Judge Deliberata. They were overpowered by their own prisoners, who took Deliberata prisoner and headed for the courtroom. Two more Bailiffs there aimed their weapons at the escapees, however the Judges present solved the problem by sentencing both the prisoners and Deliberata to death. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 2
Controverse
Bailiffs guarded Primacron during his trial on Millaath. They were taken aback along with the presiding Judge, Adveraros, when Primacron turned the tables on the Quintessons by taking control of their Sharkticons. Controverse

Toys
War for Cybertron Trilogy
- Quintesson Pit of Judgement (multi-pack, 2020)
- Accessories: Ax, mace, tail-sword
- Known designers: Ken Christiansen (concept artist), Mario Carreiro and AJ Piejko-Brown (packaging)
- The "Quintesson Bailiff" is a retooling of the War for Cybertron: Earthrise Deluxe Class Allicon with a new robot head, robot chest, upper beast head, and shoulders, transforming into a bipedal alligator-like thing. Along with the tail-sword, it comes with two new weapons, a double-bladed ax and a mace, which can connect to form the animation model's staff-thing.
- It also comes in a brownish-green deco based on a fan-colored character model previously uploaded to the wiki, which was based on a poor DVD master of the movie that misrepresented the Baliff's color scheme.
- Because of how the new shoulders are shaped, the Baliff has more restricted outward arm movement than the Allicon in robot mode.
- This toy was only available in the "Quintesson Pit of Judgement" box set, along with redecos of the Quintesson Judge, Sharkticon, and brand-new mini-figures of the Quintesson Prosecutor and Kranix. It was available first for people who attended the Hasbro Fans Expo in Hong Kong and preordered the set. It was later made a Hasbro PulseCon 2020 exclusive in the United States and Canada (except for Quebec), available to Premium members on September 23 2020, then opened up to all members on the 24th, where it sold out, went to pre-orders for more, then sold out of pre-orders within a few short hours despite a (stated) 1-per-customer limit.
Buzzworthy Bumblebee
- Troop Builder Multipack (4-pack, 2023)
- Series: Legacy: Evolution
- Accessories: Axe, mace, tail-sword, Allicon head
- Known designers: Mark Maher (Hasbro)[1]
- One of four figures in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee "Troop Builder Multipack", the Quintesson Trooper is a redeco of the War for Cybertron Trilogy Quintesson Bailiff in a more cartoon-accurate color scheme, retaining that figure's accessories. Additionally, the Trooper also includes a copy of the Earthrise Allicon's head, with additional paint compared to the original release. While the multipack's packaging and instructions suggest optionally swapping this head onto the Quintesson Trooper to create a sort of Bailiff/Allicon hybrid, a savvy purchaser can instead substitute it onto an original Earthrise Allicon toy to give it a more cartoon-accurate head... if they don't mind the plastic colors not matching. Due to sitting up higher than the Allicon release of the mold, you should turn the Allicon head so the fin rests in the gap of the chest when transforming to avoid the fin becoming bent.
- This is also the first ever Hasbro-initiated toy[2] to feature the Quintesson insignia (albeit very small). Nice!
- The Troop Builder Multipack also included a Decepticon Seeker, a G2 Universe Cybertronian Trooper, and an Animated Universe Autotrooper.
