Lio Convoy confronts a Decepticon duo who are strangely familiar.
Synopsis
Having arrived on 2005's Earth from Gaia, Lio Convoy attends a welcome party thrown on his behalf in Autobot City. Star Saber strikes up conversation with Lio Convoy, noting that the lion has a son like his friend, Dai Atlas. Lio Convoy thinks back to Lio Junior, thinking he'll do fine without him for a bit. Just then, the Sky Spy orbiting Earth transmits detection of solitarium in the plateaus of Brazil to the Autobots. However, Gigant Bomb and Smokesniper have beaten them to the punch.
With the solitarium buried meters underground, the two Decepticons prepare the ultimate attack of their Gigant Sniper combination, "Silent Nocturne". Just as they're about to fire, Lio Convoy and the Autobots arrive. Lio Convoy is bemused by the duo's similarity to Starscream and BB. Smokesniper, who loathes the current Starscream, doesn't take kindly to this namedrop and fires off the Silent Nocturne in a rage. Lio Convoy is able to reflect the attack with his mane-spinning "Lio Typhoon" attack, and Gigant Sniper is blown away. Gathering the solitarium, the Autobots return to base with it.
After being appraised of the day's events, Optimus Prime notes that some Decepticons can look quite similar. Perhaps there's even a Megatron out there who looks like Gigant Bomb. A mulling Lio Convoy thinks to Lio Junior that he probably won't be back for a while, but he'll help his fellow heroes where he is at in the meantime.

Notes
- Star Saber refers to Dai Atlas's son, Speeder.
- The comparison between the pairs of Smokesniper with Gigant Bomb and Starscream with BB is a reference to the fact that both duos are redecos of Smokescreen and Dreadwing. Optimus Prime's mention of a Megatron looking similar to Gigant Bomb is a sly reference to the barely released Generation 2 ATB Megatron toy. While Smokescreen and Dreadwing also exist in Japanese Generation 1 continuity, the two are not known at this point in the timeline.
