Notes
- This comic was published in the January/February/March 2024 issue of TV Magazine and advertised the Rise of the Beasts Deluxe Class Mirage, EarthSpark Spin Changer Optimus Prime, and the first collected edition of Go! Go!.
Transformers references
- Mirage makes heavy use of the signature illusion-projection abilities first introduced in his Generation 1 toy bio here, a gimmick famously jacked by Hound in the Generation 1 cartoon only to come roaring back with Mirage's star turn in 2023's live action blockbuster Rise of the Beasts.
Real-world references
- Oda cheekily re-imagines Mirage's hologram abilities in the aesthetic of Japanese (and let's be real, global) pop cultural depictions of supernatural "ninja arts" probably best known to modern readers in things like the evergreen shonen mega-franchise Naruto, activating them with a kuji-kiri hand sign as mystical winds blow from nowhere in particular.
