Stress fracture cannon
From Transformers Wiki
Superion's specialty is breaking things. And few weapons are as well-suited to breaking things as the stress fracture cannon. Its beam finds and overloads a target's natural fracture points, shattering it. The weapon can be set to varying levels of precision—it can crack an eggshell or cause a seismic disturbance. Guess which one Superion prefers.

Notes
- In Superion's Marvel appearances, when he wields Silverbolt's electrostatic discharger rifle it becomes a stress fracture cannon, which is a neat trick. Conversely, in his toy's instructions and packaging bio, as well as his Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile, the weapon remains an electrostatic discharger rifle.
- Also, it's notable that Superion's in-show model has the cannon attached to his right arm (which is Air Raid for this configuration) instead of being hand-held like his G1 toy's package art.
