Strikebot can be obtained at the Pig Lab in Hog Head Mountain once that area opens up on the map. Shieldor, Electroblast and Strikebot are all ready to go as soon as you enter, and are automatically added to your inventory.
When activated, Strikebot calls in a generic Seeker-type Minion Pig (used to be Skywarp) to perform a bombing run. The amount of energon cubes stored up multiplies the number of bombs dropped and damage done. You can prolong the effect by changing to vehicle mode and keeping the bomber on-screen just a bit longer. Luckily this attack also clears out any inbound silo-launched missiles. Notes
- Strikebot is one of three Energonicons based on the three special powers distributed to various characters in early builds of the game. Functionally, nothing has changed between the characters' built-in Skywarp call-in and Strikebot other than the character change.
- All three default Energonicons have Daily Quests attached to them; Strikebot's is simply to do a sum total of damage with its bombing runs within 24 hours. This quest is really about the only time you should use Strikebot, especially with the next bullet point in play...
- In August 2016, many Energonicons got a pretty severe nerfing, including Strikebot. Even at full power, the bombing runs now leave quite a lot of stuff standing.
- Originally, Strikebot summoned Skywarp to perform the bombing run, but he was replaced by the currently-unnamed pig when Skywarp was added to the playable roster.
- When Breakdown tranforms into vehicle mode and the Strikebot bomber isn't on the field, a second afterward, the Strikebot bomber does a bombing run.
