Fiction
I don't think there needs to be a fiction section, since this is a general concept (like spark) and not a specific plot device or character. since the multiverse is everything, a fiction section would be ineffective. The article should just explain what it is and what it's not. Maybe have sections on "Establishment in fiction", "size and contents", "Known Properties" "Dimensional-hopping" and whatnot.
(Also, my sandbox at User:Item42/sandbox/Multiverse is still up since there is a lot of information to transfer from there.) Item42 00:24, 3 July 2010 (EDT)
- I disagree, based on my notes on Talk:Omniverse regards what I'd like to see in a Multiverse article. A fiction section involving plot points that directly involve the multiversal concept seem entirely appropriate. Especially since it and related articles like multiversal singularity are not very well-documented in terms of where some of this stuff even comes from source-wise. --Jeysie 00:35, 3 July 2010 (EDT)
- In particular, I'd say Ramjet's musings on the nature of the Multiverse and how the Unicron Singularity was affecting it in Balancing Act belong here.--RosicrucianTalk 00:39, 3 July 2010 (EDT)
TransTech and such
All of the TransTech fiction depends on the multiverse concept. I think Universe also counts as "entirely based around this concept". Maybe have a new section for "multiverse-based series" or something ? Item42 10:26, 9 July 2010 (EDT)
G1 cartoon alternate dimensions
How would the alternate dimensions in the cartoon episode Madman's Paradise fit into the Multiverse? Do they count as different universes? Would they get universal stream designations? Some Transformers stuff uses "universe" and "dimension" pretty much interchangeably. But the cartoon might be using "dimension" differently, like different dimensions within the G1 cartoon universe or something. What do you think? - Starfield 18:11, 6 July 2010 (EDT)
- I think that this falls under something like what Marvel uses. The Marvel Universe (Earth-616 in their terms) has several dimensions associated with it. Each alternate universe has alternate versions of those dimensions associated with IT. Short answer, they are included in the "universe" of the G1 cartoon. --Khajidha 18:42, 6 July 2010 (EDT)
- That is logical, but a bit over-complicated given the information we have in Transformers. We have no reason to believe there is a mini-multiverse in the G1 cartoon that is part of the larger multiverse. In the cartoon, there is a portal to other dimensions, so the simplest explanation is that it is a portal to other dimensions in the multiverse. At the very least, we should include the multi-dimensional portal from Madman's Paradise in this article and note that it is unclear how it relates to the multiverse. - Starfield 11:06, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
Cyberverse
I remember Windblade mentioning some kind of multiverse in the first episode, unless I misheard that.--Primestar3 (talk) 17:04, 9 June 2019 (EDT)
