In motorcycle mode, Groove carried twin vaporators, which fired fine mists of various oxidizing, freezing, and corrosive liquids in a concentrated beam. Dreamwave Generation One continuity

In both modes, Groove was armed with two vaporator cannons that shot concentrated streams of corrosive, freezing, or oxidizing liquids. Groove's More than Meets the Eye profile In robot mode Grotusque carried a vaporator rifle that converted his enemies' fuel and Energon into gas form, leaving them helpless. The Transformers Groove came with two vaporators which are pegged onto posts at the rear of the bike mode, and can be retained in robot mode.
This toy was also available as part of a Defensor giftset and was reissued as part of the European/Australian Classics line. This mold was also used to make Operation Combination Sparkride.

The Transformers Grotusque came with a double-barrelled vaporator that he can hold in robot mode, or it can mount on his beast mode back.

Notes

  • Groove's Universe profile art shows him with his vaporators deployed on his legs in robot mode, as the toy can do, though the accompanying text does does not mention this feature.
