There might be lots of him.

Prime cartoon

Bottom right corner. Literally the best look you get at Igu in these segments. And he's the wrong color.
Igu only appears as an actual character in the Arms Micron Theater segments of the Japanese broadcast of Prime. Technically, he appears in the main cartoon any time... uh... a Jet Vehicon uses his cannon, but we're not going to bother with that and just focus on his individual exploits.

Igu got in 15th place during a popularity contest between 17 of the Arms Microns, only beating out Gora and Noji. Sky Dance Transformation! The Suicidal Skydive He later helped the other Decepticon Microns trick Guru into thinking Zori was their new leader. Blackest Transformation! The Shadow of Treachery When Arms Micron Theater ended, Igu and the rest of the Arms Microns got together to say goodbye to their audience. Ultimate Transformation! Fight! Transformers

Toys

Prime

  • Jet Vehicon (Deluxe, 2012)
  • Set ID number: AM-16
  • Micron ID number: M-17
  • Release date: July 28, 2012
  • Energon Crystal: SP Natural
Part of the fifth assortment of TakaraTomy Prime toys, Igu transforms from a robotic iguana into the Vehicon's shielded "beam gun" arm-cannon. He is covered in 5 mm posts and holes as part of the Arms Micron gimmick, allowing him to combine with other Microns to form bigger and more ridiculous "Combo Weapons" and "Super Combo Weapons".
For some reason, the boxback labels Igu's Energon Crystal as a "Power" type, which is green, not the clear-white of the actual toy. This is likely just a printing mistake, possibly because the very similar Noji uses a green "Power" Crystal. Igu is listed as "Natural" in the "Arms Up mission" online game, and he's part of a Super Combo Weapon with two other "Natural" types (see below), so...
Speaking of Noji, Despite having the same weapon mode as him, the two are actually entirely different molds.
He was only available packed in with the Deluxe Jet Vehicon toy, coming out of the package as a bunch of unpainted parts on runners, like a model kit. His extra deco is provided by customer-applied foil stickers on a sheet he shares with the Vehicon.
This mold was also used by the two Arms Minicons, Pillage and Plunder, in the BotCon 2014 "Dread Pirate Crew" set.

  • Micron ID number: M-17
  • Release date: February 23, 2013

Part of the eleventh and final assortment of TakaraTomy Prime toys, this redeco of Igu, dubbed "Igu S", comes with the Jet Vehicon General, both now in a primarily-silver color scheme.

10 Year Anniversary

This is because we put the picture of the version you meant to release up at the top of the page and you didn't scroll up, isn't it, Hasbro?
  • War Breakdown and Vehicon 2-Pack (Multi-pack, 2020)
For the tenth anniversary of Prime, Igu was reissued in a box set with the Jet Vehicon, Breakdown, and Zamu. Just as before, he comes as an unassembled model kit still on the sprue, with stickers on a sheet to add detail. Unlike before, he is cast in silver plastic, very similar to (but a bit more blue-tinted than) the version that came with the "Jet Vehicon General", rather than the original dark gray. The stickers are the same as the original Igu, using purple instead of silver. Why this happened is unknown.
Igu's instructions include directions to assemble the Debris Hammer with Zamu... and the original version of Gora, which is not currently available through any Hasbro release. However, "Gora II" is available with the concurrently-released Anniversary "Hades Megatron" toy, which is mostly the same, but larger and lacking the blade portions. Gora is noted in the instructions as "sold separately" via sticker applied to the sheet.
This set was exclusive to Hasbro Pulse in the U.S. and Canada but was available at general retail in Hasbro's Asian markets such as Hong Kong.

Notes

  • Igu's name is is a shortening of the Japanese rendition of "iguana" (イグアナ).
  • We'd just like to point out how neat it is that the car Vehicon's Arms Micron partner and the Jet Vehicon's turn into the same style of blaster while being different animals altogether.
