Synopsis
The battle between the two factions of Mini-Con's and their allies has turned explosive. Omega Prime destroys many of the autogun emplacements with his special attacks, while Sentinel Maximus uses his digital mace to fight off swarms of the rebel Mini-Cons. Anti-Blaze confronts Thrust, while Checkpoint, Scythe, and Perceptor deal with the other rebels, and Downshift deals with the Omnicons. Skyfall, meanwhile, attempts to convince Landquake that he isn't an Autobot, but while the Decepticon doesn't believe him, he can't shake the feeling he recognizes him from somewhere...
Sentinel Maximus calls out for Omega's assistance, but while he's fighting off the rebels, the Deep Space Team combine into their Umbral Blaster form from behind. Sentinel barely manages to the dodge the blast, which instead strikes near Skyfall and Landquake, knocking them to the ground. As the two sides reform together, Anti-Blaze implores Thrust to stop, but the Mini-Con jet insist they will die here. The battle begins again, but another explosion knocks Skyfall and Landquake back even further, as the Mini-Cons secret benefactors enter the field-Unicron and Soundwave. Having fulfilled their purpose, Unicron orders Soundwave to kill the Mini-Cons and bring him the "anomalies" (Skyfall and Landquake), and crushes Ramjet with his bare hands. Unicron kills many of the rebels and absorbs the lifeforce from the remaining Decepticon bulks, who now side with their former enemies to combat him, barely paying attention to them as he attacks the larger Sentinel and Omega, while Downshift and the Autobot-aligned Mini-Cons attempt to deal with Soundwave. Sentinel cannot believe that Unicron is here, but Omega urges him to fight on, while Thrust is skewered by one of Unicron's spikes. Skyfall's force field goes up as missiles and laser blasts fly near him, and one of the lasers ricochets off of him into an energon tank, spilling the reactive fuel. Landquake uses his abilities to attempt to stop the energon flow, begging Skyfall to shield them from another bolt. Unicron grabs onto Sentinel, attempting to drill to his spark, but Omega grabs Unicron, and blasts the now normal sized god with his "Omega Arsenal Blast." While all this is going on, Omega receives a call from Overrun, who informs him that Cybertron is falling apart...

Continuity notes
Transformers references
- Thrust tells Anti-Blaze that there is "more here than meets the eye" in the battle.
- Some more Decepticon-aligned Omnicons appear in this story, including a Skyblast that has the life sucked out of him by Unicron, and an Omnicon sharing Arcee's body type that is destroyed in an explosion.
Errors
- Sentinel Maximus' digital maces are colored solid blue in this story, instead of their correct coloration of various shades of red.
- Over-Run's name is still spelled as Overrun.
- Despite the Air Defense Mini-Con Team and the Exploration Mini-Con Team being packaged as Autobot-aligned Mini-Cons, Steamhammer, Thunderblast, Landslide, and Monocle appear in this story as Decepticon-aligned Mini-Cons (Tankor and Ascentor do not appear in this story).
- Much like the last issue, Leader-1 is depicted in his original color scheme instead of the Powerlinx upgrade colors used in the Armada episodes following "Puppet".
