Like Power of the Primes before it, the War for Cybertron: Kingdom toyline made use of a collectible card play pattern, with each mass-retail Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader class toy including one randomly-packed card. Styled after the Golden Disk, the cards featured one possible destiny of a key Kingdom character, revealed by peeling the card's illustrated holofoil face away and uncovering an illustration and an "Ancient Autobot" coded message relevant to that character. Each character was advertised as having three destiny variants across four waves, alongside Unicron getting a single card in wave 4, adding up to a total of sixteen cards.[1][2]

Across five central characters, each wave features four cards with a unique destiny for the four characters chosen in that wave. The destinies vary from references to past-Transformers work to new concepts. The illustrations sometimes feature new color schemes or designs for the characters.

Notes

  • The Ark's sticker is reused from the promotional art for the Earthrise "Galactic Odyssey Collection."
  • The Ark's third card, "Autobot Ark", is cropped from the packaging art for the Kingdom Titan Class Autobot Ark toy. As such, it depicts the character in both modes, grabbing hold of Siege Megatron, recreating the final battle in Kingdom episode 5. It is also the only destiny so far to actually happen in the War for Cybertron cartoon's main timeline.
  • Blackarachnia's sticker art is reused from the main Kingdom artwork.
  • Blackarachnia's first card is her Kingdom package art recolored to evoke her Transmetal 2 Maximal body. As the original package art featured Dinobot, Waspinator, and Scorponok, they remain on the card as well.
  • Blackarachnia's second card is based on her Masterpiece toy colored like her Kingdom toy, and features Retrax, Manterror, Buzz Saw, Buzzclaw, and "new" character Predaking, all of which do not have War for Cybertron Trilogy toys.
  • Blackarachnia's third card, "Darkarachnia", homages the reformatting sequence from The Transformers: The Movie, though Blackarachnia herself is mostly recolored from her second card, somewhat evoking her appearance in "The Trigger, Part 2".
  • Dinobot's sticker art is reused from the main Kingdom artwork.
  • Dinobot's first card features strangely pallid colours on his body, including green eyes, possibly to evoke his appearance when he was moving to intercept Soundwave with Airazor in Kingdom episode 3. Scorponok, Airazor, Blackarachnia, Cheetor, and Rattrap are present, with the last three also reused from their Kingdom toys' package art.
  • Dinobot's second card is reused from the package art of his Beast Wars 10th Anniversary toy.
  • Dinobot's third card, "Dinomus", homages the reformatting sequence from The Transformers: The Movie, and is the first (and so far, only) wholly new design.
  • Megatron's first card depicts him in his Siege body with new accessories including a shoulder pauldron, an axe, and a shield resembling his Voyager Class toy's sword. This art was later reused as the package art of the third War for Cybertron Trilogy spoiler pack.
  • Megatron's second card, Galvatron, is reused from the package art of the Kingdom Galvatron toy.
  • Megatron's third card once again depicts him in his Siege body, and features Starscream, Soundwave, Ratbat, Brunt, Spinister, Reflector and Frenzy/Rumble among other generics in a crowd.
  • Optimus Prime's sticker art is miscolored, as the silver stripe on his torso is applied right under his chest windows instead of the upper 'rib' areas on either side of his grille.
  • Optimus Prime's first card depicts his Earthrise Alternate Universe Optimus Prime toy.
  • Optimus Prime's second card is reused from his sticker art, and features Optimus Primal, Rhinox, Airazor (reused art from Dinobot's first card), and Bumblebee, albeit with two left feet. Unfortunately, this means it also retains the miscoloring from the sticker art.
  • Optimus Prime's third card, Nemesis Prime, homages the reformatting sequence from The Transformers: The Movie, though Optimus Prime himself is recolored from his first card.
