Biff Tannenlooks like nothing more than a typical no-good, rotten bully. He's terrorised his home town ofHill Valleysince his youth and made the lives ofMarty McFlyand his family miserable. Yet in reality, he's much worse than the average boorish jock. A total lack of moral fibre and a knack for ruthless selfishness means there's no low he won't sink to, and no insane circumstance he won't stick his nose into if he decides he might be able to get something he wants. This opportunistic streak has led to him meddling in Marty andDoc Brown's time-traveling adventures. Unfortunately for him, he's not immune to being pushed around by anyone who'seven bigger and nastier than he is...

In the year1974,Biff witnessedRumblearrive in theDeLorean time machinefrom the year2015.In the wrong place at the wrong time, Biff was promptly enslaved by Rumble and spent ten long years makingenergon cubes.When1984rolled around, Biff followed Rumble toMount St. Hilaryand into theArk.After Rumble programmed the ship to revive only the Decepticons,Megatron,deciding that he had no need for two Rumbles, executed Biff's enslaver.Transformers/Back to the Future #2With no meaningful opposition, the Decepticons were quick to conquerEarth,Biff becoming the Coordinator of theHill Valleywork camp.
A year later, in1985,Starscreamwas sent to Hill Valley to inspect it falling behind on its quotas. Biff begged the Air Commander for more time beforeMarty McFlydistracted Starscream.Transformers/Back to the Future #1
In2015,whenScrapperwas found smouldering, the otherConstructiconsdecided to blame Biff. Before a pleading Biff could be crushed byBonecrusher,the bulldozer was disabled byDoc Brown'sAlpha -wave ionic nullifier.Seeing a chance to redeem himself, Biff played along with Brown and the McFlys' attempts to contact the Autobots until he managed to disable the communications tower with the nullifier, contactingHook.Given anexosuitfor his services, Biff indulged in one last malapropism before Marty and the Autobots arrived. Though Biff hoped to disableGigawattwith the nullifer, the weapon was knocked out of his hands and into Marty's, who promptly sent Biff falling into a waste bin.Transformers/Back to the Future #3
When Marty and Gigawatt travelled back to 1984, Biff reasoned that if a loser like Marty could stand up to Rumble, then so he could he. That was when the nullifer ran out of charge and Rumble broke into theArk.As Biff despaired, Marty revealed that the Autobots were already awake, having Biff dump his bounty of energon cubes onto Rumble. After Marty took the genuine DeLorean back to 2015, Biff was left in the company of the Autobots, becoming their local guide and mechanic over the next thirty years.Transformers/Back to the Future #4
