Robots in Disguise
- Bumblebee(Deluxe Class, 2012)
- Series / Number:1 / 001
- Japanese ID number:AM-02
- Japanese release date:March 31,2012
- Accessories:2 arm-mounted blasters (Hasbro only), "B.B." Arms Micron (Takara only)
- Part of the first wave ofPrime: Robots in DisguiseDeluxe Class toys, this Bumblebee is an entirely new mold, and features a much simpler transformation (and slightly decreased poseability), including a "dramatic head reveal": the entire car mode front section are geared together, so when the robot mode shoulders are pulled out, the hood opens up to flip out Bumblebee's head and expand his chest. Two blaster weapons are now included, which use5 mm posts and holesto mount on his forearms, engine block, or be used as hand-held weapons. They can also combine to form a larger quad-barreled cannon. While theinstructionsare rather vague about it, his folded-up roof features a tab that's meant to peg into a slot behind his pelvis, securing his roof somewhat in robot mode. This version of the toy was later retooled intoHot Shot.
- In wave six of the "Robots in Disguise" toyline, Bumblebee was put into new packaging, which came with a DVD featuring thePrimeepisode "Loose Cannons".
- TheTakaraTomyversion of Bumblebee, part of the first wave ofPrimetoys, is considerably different. His roof and doors have been retooled to include 5 mm-hole mounting points, which are meant to be used with the newArms Micronsystem. As such, he does not come with the Hasbro version's blasters, instead, he comes with the Arms MicronB.B.,which transforms into an oversized version of Bumblebee's wrist-mounted blasters. Hispaint operationshave also been pretty heavily decreased; his doors, roof, and rear window frame have stripe-less solid-yellow paint to cover the clear plastic, leaving his engine block, grill parts and face the only "detail-painted" parts on the toy. Most of his detailing, like his car mode striping, is provided by a separate sheet of customer-applied foilstickers.(This allows for moreshow-accuratestripes than the painted Hasbro version.) Unfortunately, he suffers from a particularly horrid case of sticker placement: Theinstructionstell you to place stickers between his front wheels and doors to continue his stripe patterns, but due to how the doors are jointed, there is not enough clearance near them to accommodate these stickers, and opening the doors willdestroythe stickers.
- Shadow Strike Bumblebee(Deluxe, 2012)
- Series / Number:1 / 011
- Accessories:2 arm-mounted blasters
- Part of the fourth wave ofPrime: Robots in DisguiseDeluxe Class toys, Shadow Strike Bumblebee is a redeco of "Robots in Disguise" Deluxe Class Bumblebee, and is cast in gray, yellow, and translucent blue plastic. He features new yellow stripe patterns and deco, with some gray and black paint details here and there.
- Terrorcon Bumblebee(Deluxe Class,August 10,2012)
- Accessories:"Terrorcon Zori" Arms Micron
- Meant to represent Bumblebee turned into a vicious monster after being infused withDark Energon,"Terrorcon Bumblebee" is the Arms Micron Bee molding done in black, gray, and clear-purple. Rather than his nominal Arms Micron partner, B.B., he instead comes withTerrorcon Zori,a clear-purple version ofSoundwave's Micron partner. This set was available as anAEONstores exclusive in Japan.
- Bumblebee(Dark Energon Series Deluxe, 2012)
- Number:001
- Accessories:2 arm-mounted blasters
- Known designers:Andrew Franks(deco artist)
- Another Dark-Energon-infused iteration of Bumblebee, but still an Autobot and not a brutal killing machine,Prime: Dark EnergonBumblebee is aBigBadToyStore-exclusive redeco of "Robots in Disguise" Deluxe Class Bumblebee, and is cast in translucent glittery-gold and opaque blue plastics as anhomagetoGeneration 1 Goldbug.
- Though he was packaged on an individual card, he was initially sold as part of a set with the Dark Energon versions ofKnock Out,Starscream, andWheeljack. He was eventually made available on his own, and the Dark Energon Series toys were eventually made available in Singapore as mass-retail releases.

- Bumblebee vs. Starscream: Ultimate Opponents(Entertainment Pack, 2012)
- Accessories:Arm-mounted weapon
- This Deluxe Class Bumblebee is a redeco of his First Edition release in a darker, more orange shade of yellow plastic, similar to the same mold's NYCC exclusive version. He features brighter silver highlights and an inexplicable recoloring of his racing stripes to an aqua blue, which fades back to their regular black halfway along with his car mode.
- Bumblebee came packed-in with a redeco of First Edition Starscream, small unarticulated figurinesofSilasand aMECH soldier,as well as a DVD containing the episodesConvoy,Sick MindandOut of His Head. The two-pack was also available in Australian markets virtually unchanged, except the DVD was replaced with a booklet including short (and by that, we mean one sentence) bios as well asTech Specsformostofthe characters.
- Bumblebee(Weaponizer, 2012)
- Series / Number:1 / 002
- Japanese release date:2012-11-30
- Accessories:Blaster pistol (Hasbro & Takara), "B.B. A" Arms Micron (TakaraTomy only)
- Part of the first wave ofPrime: Robots in DisguiseWeaponizer Class toys, Bumblebee is a large, roughly Leader-sized mold with a simplifiedtransformation scheme, more accurate proportions, and a grand total offourfake wheelson his person due to said transformation. He comes with a double-barreled blaster pistol which can be mounted onto his hands, forearms, and trunk.
- Hismaingimmicks, however, are the two large mini-guns hidden in his hood-chest, which can deploy and "weaponize" either mode. When his robot head/engine block is pressed down, the mini-guns swing out from his hood-chest and spin, while a red LED inside his torso lights up briefly. Pushing on the gray lever/the center front fender portion (both on his chest) briefly lights up the LED again and swings the mini-guns back into his body.
- Hisstock photography(& his commercial appearance) gives him acompletelydifferent vehicle decocompared to the final product, with the final toy having fewerpaint operationsoverall. The final product lacks the stripe patterns between the front wheels and doors due to that patch being made ofunpaintable plastic, shrinks the stripes on the hood, tapers the door stripes towards the front, and extends it towards the rear wheels, rearranges the stripes on the trunk, roof, and behind the engine block, shrinks the Autobot symbol on the roof, and moves said symbol to the front of the hood. The hood stripes, in particular, have beensignificantlyshrunk into what are essentiallypinstripes.
- Arunning change variantof this figure features much thicker stripes on his hood chest.
- The Japanese release, dubbedGatling Bumblebee, sports metallic gold paint on most of his paintable yellow plastic, and some silver details such as the stomach and the rims. He comes with a gray version of his Arms Micron, B.B.. Unlike the initial Hasbro release (and not the running change version), the pinstripes on the hood, doors, and rear wheels are much thicker.

The missiles can slide in and store on brackets in various places, with two brackets located on top of the bow, and two rotating brackets located on each door. - As a secondwavePredacons Risingrelease, this set was only available as a Target exclusive in the US (and not in Canada, Australia or Europe), and on top of that was by far the rarest and hardest to find of allPredacons Risingproducts. Like the Abominus giftset, this two-pack features noCyberverselogo on its packaging.

- Accessories:Sword
- Known designers:Andrew Scribner(deco artist)
- Part of the first wave of 2014Prime: Beast HuntersDeluxe Class toys, Bumblebee is an enlarged
knockoffcopy of hisBeast Hunters Cyberversetoy, though with minor detail differences to be more accurate as a Deluxe and the replacement of ball joints with more robust universal joints. As such, his parts count, complexity and articulation are all significantly lower than in previous Deluxes.
- Due to being released after theChristmasseason andbefore the launchingof theAge of Extinctiontoy line,Bumblebee and the other figures of hiswavewere ultimately only available in Europe and Hong Kong, inEuropean packagingin both instances (an unusual occurrence for Hong Kong).
- His sword is reused forTakara'sMovie Advanced SeriesRatchet.
Rescue Bots
- Bumblebee(Rescue Bot, 2011)

- Bumblebee and Graham Burns(2-pack, 2013)
- Available in a two-pack withGraham Burns,Bumblebee is a non-transforming but articulated figure, with double-swivel shoulder, swivel wrists, neck, and joined-together leg swivels. - Bumblebee(2013)
- The same non-transforming figurine of jackhammer-having Bumblebee was also available in a single bag, without Graham Burns, without any changes to the toy proper.

- Accessories:"Rescue launcher", rescue missile
- TheBumblebee Rescue Repair Stationis a "3D pop-up playset" that unfolds into a play area forRescue Botsfigures, and features a working "rescue hatch" and spring-loaded "rescue launcher". It is actually the Danger Room playset from Hasbro'sMarvel Superhero Squadline in new colors, but does bothretoolout that playset's Sentinel head with a crane arm claw and include a new sticker sheet. It was released in international markets to no fanfare at some point in 2013, apparently being available in at least Latin America and South Korea (the latter being English packaging with a Korean sticker).

- Released in wave 7 of the Rescan series, this time Bee is back to his good old muscle-car alternate mode, which hadn't been available for a while. This toy is an all-new mold, which ultimately isn't very show-like, with his hood & grill becoming his chestplate rather than his roof.
- Bumblebee's engineering and transformation pattern is also shared withQuickshadowandRescue Bots AcademyMedix, who are both all-new molds. A slight redeco of this figure wasreleased in 2018,andanother redeco was released in 2022as part of theClassic Heroes Teamtoyline.
- Bumblebee(Rescan, 2017)
- Released in the 13th wave of Rescan toys, this new body for Bumblebee changes from robot to VTOL aircraft and back when his cockpit is folded down. He features articulated elbows and 5 mm compatible fists. Oddly for aRescue Botsfigure, and in common withSalvage, this articulationisn'tthe result of his transformation scheme.
- This figure was significantly retooled and redecoed into theRescan series VTOL version of Blades, which was later given a new head and redecoed intoRescue Bots Academy"Academy Rescue Team" Whirl, and more extensively retooled into the plane versions ofRescue Bots AcademyHot ShotandHeatwave.

The figure's internal frame mechanism is also now black, rather than yellow.
- This figure was later re-released unchanged in theRescue Bots Academytoyline.
Superchargers
- Bumblebee(Supercharger, 2015)
- Along withSideswipe, forming the first (and only) wave of "Superchargers", this version of Bumblebee is slightly bigger than a Rescan figure, and transforms into an F-1-style race car withpull-back motoraction. - The "Stealth Bumblebee"set comes with a predominantly-black version of Bumblebee that rebuilds into a sports car capable of carrying a single Kreon. His right arm ends in a rotating barrel, simulating a built-in blaster-arm.
- The accompanying Bumblebee Kreon is based on thePrimeversion of the character. He lacks a right hand, instead having a clear-blue cylinder that slips over the cuff, simulating an arm-blaster. He uses theIronhidehelmet and theProwldoor-wing backpack. Like most of the 2012 sets, Bumblebee comes with his own extra clear "Energon" torso piece. This piece was apparently intended to feature the Bumblebee tampographs at some point, but like all of the extra torsos in this year's assortment, it's been been left unimpressively blank.

Robots in Disguise
- Bumblebee Disc Demolisher(2015)
- Available only in the "Bumblebee Disc Demolishor"set, this Bumblebee based on his appearance in theRobots in Disguiseseries. He carries anAndorianblaster pistol from theKre-OStar Trekline. He uses the new 2015 style of Kreon hips and torso, with a hollow hip-peg and a central post inside the torso for increased grip... which also makes them incompatible with about four years' worth of Kreons.
- His massive vehicle, based on the character's vehicle mode, features a pop-up launcher in its trunk section, which fires plastic rings via pressure-launch. There isjustenough space behind the windshield to seat a Kreon, though their noggin will stick out just a bit through a hole in the roof. The set also comes with a "stasis cell",used to imprison Kreons and kept shut with a rubber band.
- Like the rest of theRobots in Disguisebuilding sets, these sets were not released at normal retail in the US. They were sold in Taiwan and Singapore from January 2015, and later in Canada from May 2015. The eventually were made available in the US through "closeout" chains like TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshall's.

- Set number:B1234
- Pieces:26

Unlike the previous Custom Kreons, he doesn't have a chromed helmet, but he does come with the standard clear-plastic helmet, torso, and legs, plus clear-plastic normal Kreon arms. He also has a clip-on cannon, a sniper rifle, a blaster pistol, and a chromed axe.
- Despite what the instructions say, the body piece cannot be pegged down between the leg parts installed on the display stand. However this can be amended by putting a 2x1 plate piece there to "mount" the torso slightly higher.
- Armor Up Bumblebee(Custom Kreon, 2017)
- Set Number:B5709
- Blizzard Strike Bumblebee(2017)
- Set Number:B5713
- Night Strike Bumblebee(2017?)
- Set Number:??
- Pieces:23
- Accessories:Scoped pistol, torso armor, 2 shoulder armor pieces, 2 arm extensions, left & right leg extensions
- Set Number:??
- Released without any prior announcement from Hasbro through Dollar General stores, the new type of Custom Kreon features extension parts for the arms and legs used for the China-exclusiveArmor Hero Captorsets, as well as extra torso and shoulder armor, to make much larger, more posable Kreons. Each character comes in three color sets (in theory): "Armor Up", "Blizzard Strike" and "Night Strike", using the same parts, though every version comes with a different facial expression.
- Be careful with the "Blizzard Strike" sets, as the clear-plastic clips used to secure the leg extensions are prone to cracking.
- Only six of the twelve sets shown have seen release: Bumblebee's "Night Strike" coloration has not been found in stores yet.
- Bumblebee(Mini-Con Combiners, unreleased)
- Accessories:Rifle, scoped pistol, grenade launcher, clip-on gatling gun, blaster
- "Mini-Con Combiner" ' Bumblebee comes with one standard Kreon and fourCityville-syle mini-Kreons of the same character, each one a different incarnation from various franchises. With some extra parts, the mini-Kreons become limbs to make a larger combiner-bot.
- The torso-Kreon and one Mini-Con are based on versions of Generation 1 Bumblebee:Classics(with an arm-cannon instead of a hand-held blaster, oddly) and"Thrilling 30" Bumblebee(Prowl helmet) respectively. The remaining three Mini-Con Bumblebees are based on"Aligned" Bumblebeebodies:War for Cybertron(Bumblebee helmet),Prime(Ratchet helmet), andRescue Bots(Jazz helmet).
- First shown at New York Toy Fair 2015,the Mini-Con Combiners were apparently cancelled without fanfare... a decision that must have come late in the day, as they went on to star in their own promotional animation, "Stuck in a Tree",released about eight months after the trade show.

Robots in Disguise(2015)
Virtually every toy in this list has a scannableinsigniasticker on it. ForHasbroreleases, it temporarily unlocks that toy as a playable character in theRobots in Disguisemobile game, and can only be scanned once per day.TakaraTomyreleases simply check that off on their mobile app's collection list. It's honestly quicker and less redundant to say which toysdon'thave this feature. Meanwhile, scanning theCombiner Forcetoys' insignia stickers gives the player Tickets, which can be spent by giving them toCryostasevia the main map menu.
Legion Class
- Bumblebee(Legion Class, 2015-2017)
- Part of the first wave ofRobots in DisguiseLegion figures, Bumblebee transforms into a (fictional) Griffin Motors 1995 Windblazer. Inrobot mode, his fists & shoulders are compatible with 3 mm-peg weapons, although he does not come with any himself. Unlike some of the figures below, this Bumblebee does not feature a faux front car chest window. His scannable Autobot insignia is on his driver-side door in vehicle mode, becoming his right arm in robot mode. This badge is accessible while he is still in-package.
- The initial release's instructions had two errors: Bumblebee's head needs to flip forward when transforming into vehicle mode, but this will make his vehicle mode slightly bumped up from the back (this can be remedied by flipping his head underneath). The instructions also tell you to flip his right hand up instead on his vehicle bonnet/body piece. Later releases fixes the issues.Probablydue to tolerance issues or a design flaw, The right side of Bumblebee's alternate mode rear section has a slight gap if not properly transformed.
- Despite being succeeded by the "Night Ops" redeco in wave 4, the original yellow and black deco of the figure made a comeback in subsequent waves, in two different packagingvariantsas part of the "Mini-Con Weaponizers" (2016) and "Combiner Force" (2017)subline imprints. While the "Weaponizers" version has only ever been found at retail in United States, the "Combiner Force" version saw a more widespread international release again.

- Japanese Release Date:2015-03-21
- Japanese ID Number:TAV01
- Accessories:Decepticon Hunter
- Known designers:Yūya Ōnishi(TakaraTomy)

He includes a Decepticon Hunter sword accessory, which can be held via 5 mm holes in his hands. His scannable Autobot insignia is centered on his chestplate. This badge is easily scannable while still in-package.
- One of his stock photos is mistransformed: his back piece isn't folded down. Despite being succeeded by his alternate redecoes, the original figure eventually saw release in the 11th wave of the Warrior Class line with the "Combiner Force" packaging. His scannable sticker is also altered, but scanning the badge only unlocks Energon currency, but not the character.
- Like the Legion Class figure and one of the One-Step Changer figures, despite being succeeded by the "Night Ops" redeco in wave 4 and the "Night Strike" redeco in wave 5, the original yellow and black deco of the figure was also re-released in subsequent waves, in two different packaging variants as part of the "Mini-Con Weaponizers" and "Combiner Force" subline imprints, both of them released in 2017.

- Night Strike Bumblebee is yet another redeco of Warrior Class Bumblebee, with his vehicle mode deco inspired byAnimatedBumblebee...with a hint of flame tampographs. His tranparent blue plastic is now molded in smoke gray. Night Strike Bumblebee features a metallic sheen on the yellow plastic, and light blue unpaintable plastic and paint applications, making it somehow similar to anAllspark Powerfigure. The really poor deco match between the yellow plastic and the yellow paint used on the roof makes the vehicle mode lookin' pretty ugly.
- Like his original toy, his scannable Autobot insignia is centered on his chestplate. This badge is easily scannable while still in-package.
- His current robot mode stock photo is intentionally mistransformed: his side doors/wings were not folded up, a change that persists in the toy's packaging, which was redesigned to allow the doors to act as hip armor.

His articulation is limited to the arms, and he sports 5 mm-compatible ports on his hands (if you're willing to make him go into battle with very small weapons). While his transformation is billed as "3-steps", his vehicle-to-robot conversion only needs a single step.
- Super Bumblebee also features a classic transformation sound when transforming into robot mode. He also features a voice gimmick, accompanied by a blue LED, activated by pressing the insignia on his chest:
- "Transform!"
- "Autobots!"
- "Roll up and roll out!"
- "Let's back out!"
- "Autobots, Maximum Velocity!"
- "Robots in disguise!"
- "Kinda wished I was a bigger bot!" (The irony!)

He also comes with aBuzzstrikeMini-Con, which can be transformed into either an axe or chest armor for Bumblebee, the latter of which triggers different sound effects from his partner.
Crash Combiners
- Sideswipe & Bumblebee(Crash Combiner, 2017)
- Part of the first wave of theCombiner ForceCrash Combinerssubline, Bumblebee is a roughly Scout-class sized figure that changes from his futuristic car with a Combiner chest that doubles as his spoiler into a robot in three extremely simple steps. His individual robot mode only has limited articulation on his shoulders. He also has a little green arrow above the connector on the vehicle back indicating where to crash him to combine with other figures. A5 mm posthole on top of his vehicle mode can accommodate a compatible accessory or Weaponizer Minicon, though he cannot use it in his individual robot mode.
- Bumblebee comes packaged with Sideswipe and is intended to combine with him to formBeeside's upper torso. Connecting them to each other will activate Bumblebee's automatic transformation, but Sideswipe must be converted manually. He can also combine with any other Crash Combiner figure to form a random Combiner. Due to how the pieces are molded, Beeside can flip out Bumblebee's arms as a
switchbladelonger sub-arm.
- Unlike the CG photos, his combiner head is missing the black paint applications.
Activator Combiners
- Stuntwing / Bumblebee(Activator Combiner, 2017)
- Released as part of the first wave ofRobots in DisguiseActivator Combiners, this Bumblebee is a Deluxe-sized mold that converts from robot into a vehicle in just 4 steps, with his robot arms the only poseable part. Plugging an Activator Mini-Con, such as his pack-in partnerStuntwing, onto his roof activates "Throttle Up" mode, popping out the side doors/cabins to reveal some mechanical details and teal streaks on it's rear section.
Team Combiners
- Ultra Bee(Team Combiner, 2017)
- Released as part of theUltra Beeset, Bumblebee transforms fromunposeablerobot to vehicle, or into the upper torso of the gestalt. The combiner mode's head is stored inside his torso, deployed with a push of a spring-loaded button. The smaller head automatically flips down on the pop-out gestalt's head after the gimmick is activated. Amusingly, both of Bumblebee's heads can be deployed at the same time by flipping/pushing downbothheads in place before activation. He also features a pseudo-autotransform feature: His combiner pegs flip out while transforming into torso mode (if the wheel panels are flipped open to make way). Due to his nature as an upper torso, he slightly towers Strongarm and Sideswipe.
- Each toy uses the same universal combination joint as the other Team Combiners and theCrash Combiners, which can lead to some...interestingcombinations, given that most robots form very specific body parts when combined. Mi xing Crash Combiners with Team Combiners leads to someespeciallyweird results.
- Secondary stock photos of the toy are slightly mistransformed, featuring the combiner head deployed while 'Bee is in his standalone robot mode.
International Day of Friendship
OnJuly 30,2015,Hasbroannounced that they had made custom pony versions of "best friends"Optimus PrimeandBumblebeealong withcharactersfromotherfranchisesin honor of the International Day of Friendship. Hero Mashers
- Bumblebee(Action Figure, 2015)
- Pieces:8
- Accessories:Twin-blade, Decepticon Hunter spear-mace
- Part of the third wave ofTransformersHero Mashersbasic Action Figures —and the first of theRobots in Disguise-themed product— Bumblebee is a non-transforming action figure with ratchet-joints, about six inches tall. He has multiple peg-holes all over that can be used to mount anyHero Mashersaccessory. Unlike most basicHero Mashersfigures, Bumblebee got two different weapon accessories rather than just one.
- He is designed with a removable head, forearms, thighs, and lower legs, all of which use the same clip-peg/hole joint. - Striker Mode(ストライカーモードSutoraikā Mōdo)
- Arms Microns:B.B., C.L., O.P., R.A.

- Arms Microns:B.B., O.P., R.A.
- Roughly translated as "Extreme Firefight Bang Bang Mode", this "Anti-Terrorcon" Mode turns the three Microns into a gun emplacement that isn't actually attached to Bee, just one he stands behind. Introduced in the "Cybertron Satellite"segment from"Infiltration Transformation! Battleship Nemesis".
- Mecha Uchi Kidō Type(メチャウチ cơ động タイプMecha Uchi Kidō Taipu)
- Arms Microns:B.B., C.L.
- Roughly translated as "Extreme Firefight Agile Type", this other "Anti-Terrorcon" attack mode is... just Bee with B.B. on one arm and C.L. on the other.Exciting.But it was highlighted and named in the same episode as the Mecha Uchi Ban Ban Mode, so, well, for completism's sake....
- Infection Mode(インフェックションモードInfuekkushon Mōdo)
- Arms Microns:B.B., Terrorcon Zori
- Terrorcon Bumblebee's Arms Up mode is simply him usingTerrorcon Zoriin his right hand, and B.B. in his left. Wooo.

- Arms Microns:B.B., B.H., C.L., Gora, Gura, O.P., Zori
