Alignment
Alignmentis an unofficial, non-canonnovella, but it is considered enlightening in determiningauthorial intentregarding specific story elements left otherwise undeveloped in official materials.

The Hub had long been performing a complex operation through successive iterations, its accuracy improving as planets were added to the network. Inhabiting it were a wide variety of mechanical organisms, beings that might have once been Decepticons, but had been advanced to the point of having multiple forms and reduced to a hive mentality, little more than extensions of the Liege Maximo's will. The goal of this operation was to allow the Liege Maximo to ascend to the realm of theDark Gods.At a critical moment this operation was disrupted on two fronts by a small group of Autobots led byGrimlockand an alliance of Decepticons and Autobots led byUltra Magnusand a resurrectedMegatron.Megatron actually managed to wound his ancestor before perishing, which caused the Liege Maximo to panic and attempt to enter the portal prematurely. It collapsed, destroying him. The resolution of this threat led to the signing of thePax Cybertroniaand the end of theGreat War.Alignment

"Oooo! Jhiaxus gets The Hub Network in HD apparently."
Regeneration Onecontinues from theMarvel US series, and does not include theUK storiesor any subsequently published stories.

Jhiaxus sat on his throne, on a planet at the centre of the Hub Network, comparing the order he had created to the chaos of the "lesser order of Cybertronians."Destiny, Part One

He later bragged toRodimus Primethat the Hub Network was a unified galactic empire. Rodimus was horrified to hear that some of the planets somecha-formedhad contained indigenous life, and rejected Jhiaxus's offer to have Cybertron join his empire. The War to End All Wars, Part 2

With Jhiaxus having returned to his Throneworld, Rodimus launched a preemptive strike against the network, hoping to take down Jhiaxus's empire before he had a chance to react. However, Jhiaxus anticipated such a move; the Autobots' plan failed, and Rodimus and several of his troops were captured. The War to End All Wars, Part 3

Jhiaxus continued to attempt to convince Rodimus to join him, while the other captured Autobots were held in what the former Cybertronian senator called the Corral. TheWreckerssoon made themselves known by continuing their assault, and escaping through the network's slam rail transit system. Jhiaxus executed four of the Autobots held in the Corral in order to coerce Rodimus to order the Wreckers to cease their attack, but Rodimus had no way to contact them. With Shockwave joining in on the attack on the Hub, Jhiaxus left Rodimus behind to enter the fray himself, only to be taken down by theUnderbase-empowered Starscream. Without Jhiaxus to lead the defense, the Autobots destabilized the Hub Network to the point of no return. As the Autobots escaped and returned to Cybertron, Rodimus could only reflect on how Jhiaxus was only carrying out his interpretation ofPrimus's grand plan, by bringing his own vision of order to a chaotic universe. The War to End All Wars, Part 4
