The Titan Master Infinitus was ancient; millions of years ago, he servedNexus Primeduring the age of theThirteen Tribes.After Nexus was killed byGalvatron,he chose to serveOnyx Prime.When the Thirteen passed fromCybertron,Infinitus vowed to keep their teachings alive and create a new world - a world where "the weak knew their place" and the "good" would keep their inferiors in line. To this end, he took on the identity of "Sentinel Prime", using his Titan Master abilities to puppeteer a large body that allowed him to pass as a normal Cybertronian. Although Infinitus attempted to thwartMegatron's rise to power during the earliest days of theGreat War,he was defeated by the revolutionary leader, and Sentinel Prime was assumed dead. Infinitus secretly abandoned his ruined body and started building a new one beneathKaon,intermittently slipping in and out of hibernation as he subconsciously attuned himself to theTitans.

Millions of years later he was properly awoken by a broadcast fromMetrotitan.Viewing the greatly changed post-war Cybertron, he was disgusted by the sight of Autobots working together with Decepticons and colonists from theTitanworlds, signs of "degeneracy" that he could not abide. Infinitus donned the mantle of Sentinel Prime once more, vowing to take up arms and burn down everything that his successorOptimus Primehad built up.

"Autobot Infinitus" (the 'Autobot' prefix presumably added fortrademarkreasons) was packaged with his partnerSentinel Primeas part of the first wave ofTitans Return.He can transform into the larger robot's head, or that of any otherTitans ReturnDeluxe, Voyager, or Leader Class toy. Infinitus's robot and head modes are both based directly onAlex Milne's Sentinel Prime design fromMegatron Origin.

Infinitus's mold was also used forDarkmoonand theHeadmasterstages of bothLegendsConvobatandLeo Prime.

Infinitus, now in translucent orange, was again packaged with his partnerSentinel Primein agift settogether withTitan Forceredecoes ofBrainstormandWindblade.The upper portion of Infinitus's legs has been installed backwards on this version, but it ishighlyinadvisable to attempt to fix them, given the tiny size of the parts and the less forgiving nature of the transparent plastic.

Notes

• Unlike the other Titan Masters, the Hasbro product description copy given to retail sites for Infinitus differs from what is on the toy package. It lists his Titan Master power as a near-impenetrable force field instead of time manipulation. TheTrypticon's Titan Master Crunchposter went with a variant of this power, temporary invincibility, rather than matching the packaging.
